Great item does exactly what it states, It closes the door and has great tension, and easy to install, and adjust and to fit. And it is certainly strong.

Had years of asking my daughter to close the living room door. I decided to solve the issue by getting closer. Color blends in well with out decor. Very easy to fit however, I do need a bit more tension but I feel if I turn the bar another notch it may damage it. That said, the door does close but not fully because of the door handle catch is stiff so it's stopping it.Another slight niggle is, when the door closes, it does make a very slight rubbing noise when the bar slides along the plastic guide attached to the door. Not a deal breaker but it's there.Over all I'm happy, no more arguments and my thermostat in the hallway on the other side of the door now has a more constant temperature to work with lol

Discrete and works very well on pretty heavy doors. Better than the usual spring options out there. The only negative would be the quality of the screws, one bent in half and all of the heads rounded off under pressure.

Works well but the screws rounded off and the slider bit that goes on the door is made of cheap plastic and randomly broke in half and fell off (!) after 3 months

4 x damaged main bodies of the door closers received with the holes destined to receive the screw part of the arm pieces worn down and damaged. The thin, rounded, long metal pieces meant to fit into the holes on the main body were bent and the white paint damaged and peeling. The plastic parts were all broken and discoloured (and it was clear they had been intentionally packed that way because the missing pieces were nowhere to be found inside the packaging). Disgraceful, not fit for purpose and totally useless without the original packaging and no instructions!!!!

This has been installed for about a month now.It was easy to install and works well to close the door fully, but doesn't slam it.Perhaps because this is fitted on an internal door which opens back wider than 90 degrees, the plate does not cover the full range of movement of the end of the closer and this has has caused marks on the door (a grey line).We also had an issue, when the door was being used by children without close supervision, that the bar has poked a hole in the door. Both of these issues have been remedied by installing a fingerplate along the full range of movement of the bar; and I would still replace this if it was to break.

Does what it says on the tin. Took a wee while to appreciate how it works and adjusts. I installed it in a low-profile location which stood me in good stead for installing another one later in a more visible location. A door that noisily slammed shut with a previously installed hidden spring closer now closes quietly. Was sceptical at first that it would work but now more convinced that it is a useful accessory.
