Greatest light show at night
These are so much fun to play wish if you have cats and if you like to explore the night sky. Teaching individuals how to learn all the constellations in the night sky is made so much easier if you can just use your pointer and touch the stars. During the day you can also have a wonderful time entertaining any cat or dog with this amazing tool. The cost is so low you can get several of them for your kids, family members or anyone who wants to play or explore the night skies. I had to get a second one due to my wife wanting one for her own.The greatest thing I love about this is that it has a USB charging port so you never need batteries.

It's bright, it's shiny, and that's really all I have to say on it.
Let's be real, we probably aren't being too picky about fine quality elements like beam focus when snagging a <$30 laser pointer, so I'll write for the people looking for a toy first and the hobbyists looking to bend it into something more second and briefly. It's bright, like you can see the beam in a lot of cases types of bright. I don't really use the light show cap it has, but it's pretty mesmerizing. Battery life is also pretty good, and my only real gripe is that it has a USB type A plug on the end rather than a type A or C socket; I could see this impacting the longevity of the device when the connector gets bent or something.Alright, hobbyist talk: It's not going to get a tight beam at all. I really did try to focus it, and it does actually allow you to try, but I just couldn't dial in anything close to a tight beam at any distance I bothered to check (30cm, 1m, 3m, 5m.) If you're using it for alignment and don't mind measuring how off your measuring tools are, you can probably still make it work. I wouldn't really bother and probably just consider something else for that.

I'M ABLE TO CHASE TURKEYS OUT OF MY YARD WITH GREEN LAZOR LIGHT WITH VERY LITTLE EFFORT
MY GREEN LAZOR LIGHT ARRIVED A DAY EARLYER THAN EXPECTED. I TOOK IT OUT OF BOX, POINTED AT THE 35 WILD TURKEY RESIDENCE THAT LIVE ON MY CITY STREET AND CLEARED ALL THE TURKEYS IN LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES. THIS LIGHT IS AWSOME AND WORKS EVEN BETTER THAN I EXPECTED.THE GREEN LIGHT IS HARD TO SEE IN BRIGHT SUN, BUT THE TURKEYS SAW IT POINTED AT THEM AND THEY WAISTED NO TIME LEAVING MY NEIGHBORHOOD. AT NIGHT THE GREEN LAZOR IS VERY BRIGHT AND CAN BE SEEN BETTER THAN TWO CITY BLOCKS AWAY AND YOU CAN'T MISS NOT SEEING THE LAZER HIT THE TURKEYS . WOW THE TURKEYS SCATTERED OUT OF ALL THE TREES, SIDEWALKS AND OFF THE STREETS. I AM SO PLEASED WITH THIS LIGHT.NO MORE TURKEY POOP IN MY YARD AND SIDEWALKS, YEA. IF ANYONE READS MY COMMENTS ABOUT GREEN LAZOR LIGHT BELEAVE ME IT WORKS ON TURKEYS, GEESE AND CROWS. I NOW HAVE TALKED SEVERAL NEIGHBORS TO BUY THE GREEN LAZOR LIGHTS AFTER THEY SAW HOW WELL THE WILD TURKEYS SCATTER.LONNIE KIN DALLAS, OR

Powerful and bright
Very powerful laser pointer. Built in USB. Solid bright green laser light. The starburst end cap is useless for what I need this for so can't really comment on that part. It is made of the typical chrome plastic material. I just discarded that piece though. Can't attest to the battery life as I use it to point out welds and cross members when walking the facility being built. Even in well lit rooms this laser will shine bright at far distances. I did point it at a crane mast about a mile away and it was highly visible during the day.

My dog loves it.
Until yesterday my laser was working awesome. Here today the dot and the dotting line disappeared. So i unscrew it very carefully blow out the dust and screwed it back together and good as new. Be careful very small pieces. My Lucy loves this thing. She will chase it for hours if I let her. Thank you for helping to tired out my baby.

Holy crap this thing is bright. Would not recommend for pets.
My dogs love to chase the laser pointer, and my old one wore out. It also chewed through AAA batteries, so finding a rechargeable one was a must. This one *seemed* like the perfect replacement. The good news is this one has good battery life, seems fairly durable, and has a built-in USB charger. The bad news (for my purposes, anyway) is that this thing is WAY too bright/powerful for me to feel safe using it to play with my dogs.I kept this one but ended up buying a less powerful laser pointer (also rechargeable) for the doggos.PROS:- Durable construction- Decent battery life- Built-in charger- The star cap is kinda cool- Extremely brightCONS:- Too bright/powerful to use as a pet toy.- Button feels like it will wear out long before the rest of the unit (this is a common issue).Since the cons are only specific to my use-case, I'm not knocking any stars off the review.

Bright but not durable.
You get what you pay for. It's bright, but cheaply made.- Button is cheap plastic and started wearing out quickly.- The diffusion filter is plastic and backs out when you spin it to change the pattern.- It's was dropped on a tile floor from counter height and the diode broke off inside.

Bright
It'd be crazy to use it for playing with your pet, too intense. I use it for pointing when I'm rock climbing, got no problem seeing it.
