Vileda SuperMocio 3Action Mop and Bucket Set, Mop for Cleaning Floors, Set of 1x Mop and 1x Bucket

My Vileda mop set arrived safely. Great mop and bucket brought this set before but gifted to my granddaughter so I brought another set. Good mop and cleans my floors brilliantly always like Vileda mops ans east to get replacement heads on Amazon.

I wanted to buy a mop that I could actually wring out, not too hard you'd think, ha! judging by the amount of mops I have in storage, this is obviously not the case for me. I am disabled, so not the strongest of people, and I do have difficulty working most systems, but this one was so easy to use, no twisting or turning, just place the mop head in the wringer and press down and the wringer turns as you press and wrings the water out. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to press hard enough, but even I can do it. The mop itself cleans the floor very well, and is easy to use. The first time I used it a put a little white vinegar in with hot water and detergent just to give it a bit of extra cleaning (because I wasn't happy with the sponge mop cleaning I'd previously done) I checked the floor by wiping a kitchen towel over a heavily used area whilst the floor was still damp and it was perfectly clean - so happy! :) I left the floor to air dry, in the winter I would probably use a dry mop (like Swiffer) to dry the floor a little quicker, but if you live in a well heated house, this probably wouldn't be a problem anyway. The mop, cleans very well, and wrings out very well, but the floor is still slightly wet, it needs to be so you can clean it, but the moisture is not excessive, and stronger people may be able to wring the mop out even better than me. When finished, I rinsed the mop head well and wrung it out and placed it in the sun to dry ready for the next use. The best mop I have ever used, very happy I bought this, all the others can now go to the charity shop - well the handles and new mops heads can. Excellent design, and easy to use with brilliant results.

I'm disabled and in a wheelchair so as I find it difficult to use steam cleaners so I have to use a mop and bucket.This bucket is smaller than my last one which I prefer. First of all that means it's lighter to begin with so once I've filled it with enough hot water I find it's still light enough for me to easily put it back down on the floor. The handle is very secure compared to my last bucket, it usedto pop out of it's hole on the bucket so that's the reason I bought a new one.The wringer in the bucket is much better than the older ones, because it's smaller and the rungs in it are closer together, it makes it easier to wring the water out of the mop.The pole of the mop just screws together and is very sturdy. The mop head on my old pole had a button that released the mop head but this one doesn't. It's slightly more difficult to get the mop head to click onto pole, and because there's no button to release the mop you have to pull it all. It takes a lot of effort to get it off. I can't do it myself and able bodied people have even found it difficult. But once it's off, it can be put in the washing machine and it comes out as good as new.Even though I have difficulties with the mop, I've been using Vileda for over 30 years and although I've tried different brands I've found Vileda is the best.

Great mop and bucket.

I have bought Vileda mops for years and usually use the telescopic version for easy storage - however, the telescopic feature tends to rust over use and mine have always ended up unable to close down. So decided to buy this version, the mop handle is shorter and thinner than the telescopic version which makes it smaller and already easier to store. The bucket is a good size 10L without being bulky, the wringer does do what it says on the box - helps grab the mop to wring out more water and so far very happy with my purchase. The wringer feels a bit 'flimsy' so I wonder how it will hold up over time/use, I'll add more in a month or so to update if its still holding up or broken. Excellent price for a great mop.The listing shows the mop bucket set in a Vileda box but mine arrived without this, I'm not bothered but if buying say as a moving in present then don't expect the Vileda packaging. Quick note to Vileda, I'd love a slim line bucket, it would be even easier to store.

Does what it says

The handle and mop head clip have broken within the first couple of months. I'm not heavy handed or clumsy. My last vileda mop lasted years but eventually the coating peeled and the pole rusted.These newer mop handles are so thin and weak that I would only recommend for very light use. Do not attempt to use the scrubbing pads on the mop head to scrub any stubborn marks or the pole may break (as it did to me).I gave it 3 stars as the mop head and bucket are still functional, although without a mop handle they cannot be used.
