Works well. Looks sturdy.
Brilliant. Dried biltong in 8 hours at 35°C. With the shelves removed, I threaded the meat onto sosatie sticks which are the exact size for resting on the shelf ledges.Quiet operation and does not use much electricity.

Ideal for a first purchase
Lovely wee machine have only made apple rings and dried mint so far and both have turned out brilliantly.perfect for a 1st machine not too noisy and trays are easy to wash. Only downside is it would be nice if there were a few recipes to try with the machine .

Compact and powerful
Quieter than my old Excalibur dehydrator which is great. The compact size doesn’t mean less capacity. It is easy to use, powerful and has made me excited to dehydrate the fruit and vegetables from my garden. I’ve even made vegan jerky from TVP strips, which I’d never tried making before.

So far its a decent machine
Bought this so we can dry fruit and veg from our allotment. Also herbs and leaves to make tea. So far is doing its job really well. Some items like tomatos take much longer than we anticipated but as we also put herbs on them the house smells lovely.machine is not very noisy, you know its on and doing its thing but does not interfere.

Easy to use, works well.
Really intuitive and easy to use. I have to try out different temperature settings as not everything I want to dry is on the list given, but works really well.

Really pleased with my first dehydrator.
As a wildcamper I've seen other people dehydrate their own meals to take out camping with them, and I liked the idea. After much deliberation I decided to opt for this Nebula 6 tray dehydrator.Initial results have been excellent. I've done basmati. I've made a vegetarian green lentil cottage pie base mix. I've also done fresh pasta and steamed broccoli this week with great success - I'll be rehydrating the pasta dish with a cheese and broccoli cup a soup. It's obviously a process that can take many hours, but I keep track of my electricity usage through my smart meter and it's not even noticeable on that. The machine itself has 6 trays, I went for the option to get the 6 dehydrator sheets included, which work great. I also had some silicone baking sheets at home which were sitting doing nothing, they're approx. A3 sized, so I cut them in half and they're perfect for drying wetter food which might drip down. The fan is at the back of the machine, so it's easier to clean, as nothing will drip on the fan.The digital control panel is very easy to use, almost like child's play. A temp button, up and down arrows, a start stop button, a timer function and that's all you need.As my first dehydrator I couldn't be happier. I was looking at buying a larger Excalibur machine, but after seeing a friend's I was concerned about size and where I could put it. This Nebula is a good size for the kitchen bench and looks smart. It's ideal for what I need out of it.
