I wanted to grow my nails and ditch the nail bar and for that they have been 100% effective.Within 5 days I could feel my nails strengthening and they no longer split. I’m not careful with my nails, I wash up, clean and garden, glove free, and they survive the lot. I take one a day for a few weeks then switch to one every other day and that seems to be enough to keep them strong. I occasionally run out and within a week or 2 they start to get thin and split. You then have to start again but it kicks in really quickly.Have worked every time for me but I do lapse and get complacent and so probs need to subscribe.Not much change to my hair if I’m brutally honest. Still the same hair fall, maybe some fine baby growth in my widows peak and less breakage but I don’t have noticeably thin hair so maybe that’s why I can’t see much change to the thickness.

I have come to rely greatly upon these brilliant little capsules for my extremely distressing hair fall out which is probably due to me being a lady of menopausal age. I started taking them about 4 years ago when a lot of my hair had already fallen out. There is no joke when I say I was literally losing my hair by the handful on a daily basis. I would just sit there and cry because my hair was always one of my best features when I was younger. I have always had long hair, and although it is fine I always had masses of it. I Googled my problem with my hair and Biotin popped up quite a lot, and I also decided to go ahead and buy the Solgar brand as I had read a lot of good things about its quality and value for money. So I ordered it here on Amazon. I really wanted to wait to see if it actually worked. I am absolutely over the moon to say that my hair was noticeably growing back within 3-4 weeks of me starting to take Solgar Biotin. The hair at the back of my head, near the nape has been growing strong and fast for a long time now. I have noticed that my hair is overall much thicker than it was although I think it will take a while to get back to its original state. Like another reviewer here I stop taking it every 2 to 3 months for about a week or two to avoid the plateau effect which I do believe has occurred with me whilst taking this Biotin. I start taking it again and it seems to continue to work. Overall I am delighted with this brand and will always continue to order it from here as the price always manages to stay extremely reasonable. If you are in any doubt don’t be. Buy this. Taking these capsules I can tell my hair and nails grow much faster.

I felt that I had to write a review for this supplement because after suffering with extremely dry/ chapped hands for almost 2yrs within weeks of taking biotin they are almost back to normal! Since entering the menopause I have developed hair loss, dry skin and brittle nails. As a last resort after trying most creams and lotions on the market with no results I decided to start HRT which I must admit as helped alot, but not with my hair loss and skin so I did some research and found this product. It hasn't stopped my hair loss yet, but it is early days so I am hoping it will eventually. I was beginning to feel embarrassed and depressed about my skin especially my hands and I am so pleased that I have found this product. It is also alot cheaper on amazon than Holland and Barrett.

I do not recommend it, I was very sick, I did not like it at all.

I ordered 2 products but only received the copper not the Biotin. I am sure its an oversight. Not sure how to contact the seller. I put 5 stars as i dont want to drop the rating of the product. Solgar products are amazing this is just a delivery issue.

Easy to swallow but hard to digest for those with sensitive stomachs
