NOT for Automotive
Tool may be fine for soft copper/aluminum HVAC work. Feels sturdy, bar clamp bites the tubing well. No slipping even on old steel line. (Only tried on 3/16 so far.) But arbor cone does not retract far enough to accommodate a double/bubble flaring die. Makes a nice SINGLE flare but that is useless for automotive work. The eccentric cone is odd but the result looks good. But still useless for my needs.If you're sick of crap bar clamps look for "in-line" flaring tools. Make the most reliable flares and work great in tight spaces.
