I'll get straight to the point: when I fill this tumbler at 6PM with hot water to brew tea, that tea is still piping hot at 11PM, and luke warm at around 2AM. Considering I brew a giant pot of water every evening at around 6PM for my coffee, this cup essentially allows for me to save on electricity because I do not have to brew a separate pot of hot water later in the evening, when I am done with my coffee and want a cup of tea. For comparison, my coffee in an "insulated" stainless steel mug--with lid--becomes luke warm after about an hour in the mug. Zojirushi's vacuum insulation works. You are getting exactly what you're paying for, and the brand is worth every penny.

It keeps my coffee hot but the 3-piece lid is a bit of over-engineered ridiculousness. Why not just a screw-on cap?

I have several of these cups and they truly keep your hot or cold beverage for a very long time. It is quite expensive but you will find you will never use anything else once you have this in your possession.

Insulation effect is very good, however I found it drips coffee every time I drink. I think the spout design could be better. Especially it’s a very expensive product!

こすれ等の耐久性は良い。 分解ができ開口部に関しては広く手で奥まで届き洗いやすい。 日本製のため樹脂パーツが手に入りやすい。 保温性は普通、2時間は熱い位。 飲み口にパッキンが無いため逆さは✘、（そもそも圧力室が付いていないから熱湯では加圧状態となって漏れる。) 色合いは自然な感じ。 細めのため、国産車のドリンクホルダーにはピッタリ。
