Had this quite a while now and found it really useful. I don’t use this for art or sketching, more for scrolling and odd games. Worked exactly as described, absolutely no problems, charges quickly and the charge lasts me a long time. Used with new iPad no complicated set up. For my needs I couldn’t warrant the price of the official pencil, excellent value for money, can’t believe you get extra tips as well what’s not to like. Bargain!

Good pencil for using with iPad. Battery doesn’t hold charge for long so only downside is frequently charging. Good cheaper alternative to Apple Pencil.

I have had this pen for a year and a half and over the last few months I have been using it a few hours a day. It connects really well to the iPad and it is really useful for small detail work.A few nights ago the pen stopped working mid use, no lights and it wouldn’t charge. I emailed customer services and Rosie was in touch straight away. She asked for a video to show the problem, and after acknowledging the fault had a new pen sent the next day. I can not fault the customer service received. I hope not to have a problem with this pen, but if I do I’m sure customer services will help.

This is a very cheap option but it packs a lot of power. Really easy to use, no fuss, just charge and turn it on. My son gave me an Apple one for Christmas, cost him a fortune only to find that it's not compatible with my iPad. What's that all about? He sent it back for a refund and I bought this one.

Great pencil. I have an iPad A16 (11th generation) and when I ordered it, I found it didn’t attach properly to my iPad. One magnet attached and the other repelled.I contacted their support email and Rosie replied and sent me out a replacement pen which is a new version which attaches perfectly!Overall it works brilliantly as a substitute to the Apple Pencil, battery lasts a very long time and it feels solid and comfortable to write with. Very happy.

I bought this pencil mainly for scrolling on my iPad and I did not want to spend as much as the Apple pencils are. I am very impressed with the product, it is easy to use, works well and is really good value for money. It has great pressure sensitivity and is easy to hold and use. It doesn’t need to be connected to Bluetooth, you just double tap the top to start using. Would definitely recommend.

After I wrote the below review I noticed that there was a 12 month warranty so I contacted Metapen support and they were great. Replied immediately and after some troubleshooting offered me a replacement or refund.So maybe I was unlucky and got a bad pen, but it is a well supported product if you do have issues.------------------------------Worked ok at the start but after a month or so it became unreliable - lines cutting out etc. - and now doesn't work at all.
