Q: Does the Camera cube pack fit in the 25L backpack?

The Camera Cube Pack will not be able to fit inside the loft area of the 25L McKinnon Backpack, but you will be able to fit the cube pack (collapsed) in the main compartment. The 25L is light enough so if you only plan to carry a camera and one or two lenses, we would recommend carrying the 25L only.

Q: Can i fit a 500m lens in here?

Hey There! You could be able to fit the 500m lens in the 25L if you use one SMALL cube at the top and collapse the "ladder" section of the bag.

Q: Is this the kickstarter version, or the new one ?

Both bags were actually Kickstarter campaigns, but this one is the newer one. This is the 25L everyday bag compared to the one a couple years ago that was a 35L travel bag. When I first got it I was really unhappy and concerned it was too small and not as versatile as I thought. BUT… now that I’ve used it constantly over the last few weeks, I can say I’m madly in love with this bag. I had it fully loaded and on my back for three straight days at a convention here in Colorado and it never caused me any pain at all, was comfortable the whole time, and I genuinely forgot I even had it on. I was blown away by it after using it so much and I genuinely can’t imagine going back to NOT having it. I hope that helps!

Q: Does this have a waist strap that goes along with this?

No it doesn’t. It has a chest strap though.
