Q: Does anyone know the weight of the jar, temp gauge and the band? I forgot to get the weight of all 3 before adding my starter.

Hi. Thanks for asking. Actually, the net weight of the jar is printed on the jar (400gr/ 0.88lbs) so you will know exactly how much starter you hold at any given time. The band is 3.5gr and the thermometer sticker is around 0.1gr

Q: How much fiber in the whole wheat - or does it depend on the flour you buy?

Fiber content in the whole wheat depends on the kind of flour you use and changes between manufacturers. This sourdough starter jar kit doesn't come with the flour.

Q: Is the glass lead free?
