I use it for my mother inlaw to watch her on porch or if i am in living room in morning and she still in bed i can watch her . But picture goes out all time but i can touch power button it come back . And also i hear her move .

the monitor glitches blacks out more than it stays on...

This is a nice self-contained 2 camera plus monitor setup. The cameras must be plugged in but the adapters have nice long cords so they can be placed where you want them. The monitor can work either plugged in or not for flexibility. The rechargeable battery in the monitor can last for up to 10 hours. The system worked right out of the box for me. I just placed the cameras where i wanted them and walked to the farthest point in my house from the cameras and then turned on the monitor. The image from camera 1 appeared right away. Using the right and left arrows toggled between the cameras. So the system worked plug and play out of the the box. I had no glitches with the images.Now, the image from the camera is not the highest resolution in the world, but it's adequate for its purpose, it seems to me. A bigger monitor would certainly be better, but this works ok. There is 2-way sound between the cameras and monitor. I like that the cameras have night vision so you can see an image in the day or night. There is a small 2x zoom if you want to look closer at the target. There are a few operating modes. You can, of course, view a particular camera continually. You can also auto-scan to flip between the cameras every few seconds. It also has video on crying, where the video starts when the camera hears sounds. You can adjust the monitor color temperature, brightness, and volume as well. You can also wall-mount the cameras.The monitor display tells you the battery charge level, the connection status of the cameras, and the temperature in the room the camera is in. You can add 2 cameras if you like, for a total of 4. The instructions are good and accurate.There are many ways to set up cameras to monitor rooms in your house with smartphone apps. This system is self-contained and doesn't rely on outside connectivity. If you'd like to have a self-contained simple system to use for monitoring a baby, elderly person, or other situation in your house, this system is worth a look. It's simple to use and works well.

This is a really great set! I really like the quality of it. It apparently has 2.4GHz Technology Supporting High Data Rate Transmission which is important. I like being able to see and hear from the cameras. It has2-way Talk/audio which means you can hear and they can hear you. So you can sing or talk to the other side and listen to how they respond. The Handheld Parent Unit has a 2.8" TFT-LCD screen which is small but still good enough for most. It's great having 2 cameras so that each one in can be in different rooms. Maybe you're watching different kids and what they're doing either while sleeping, playing, etc. I'm impressed with the quality and setup. Didn’t had to do anything other than unwrapping the box and connecting it to a power source. It's nice that there isn't really an video lag from the camera to screen. Also has very smooth video playback. Nice picture/image quality. Also features voice activation as well as night vision. The instruction manual included is good for reference but it really helps to play around awhile with it on your own to learn and figure it all out for yourself! I like that it isn't Wifi connected or recorded in the cloud, etc. There's also even a temperature reader without an alert though to tell you if it is too hot or cold in the room.Overall it's pretty nice and I'd recommend it!

Here are the few details that might help you before considering this productProduct;Comes with two stationary cameras, can be fixed on to wall or can stand on even surface. The camera position can be adjusted manually to almost any position desired. Comes with one monitor that can be hooked up to 4 cameras. Also comes with it 3 chargers, one for each device.Setting up:Is easy, I have not even trigger pairing, out of box the monitor connected to the camera.Features:It comes with temperature reader, but there is no alert to let you know if it is too hot or cold in the room. It comes with VOX (voice activated mode) that will automatically turns on the monitor if there is a sound detection in the baby room. But it does not have VOX alert sounds, to alert you rather one has to see the screen constantly if it is turned on.It works at 2.4 Ghz and has an impressive range, I could get good reception upto 200 ft and jittery (freezing) over that range. I think 1000ft is a stretch of what the manufacturer claims. After using couple of monitors, I can say 200ft is a good range.The screen of the monitor is approx 3 inches and it is smaller than what we currently have. I wish the screen was bigger but it is fine not a deal breaker. It also has a two way audio to communicate with the kid. Audio could have been better but it is decent to hear the other person with slight distortion. It does not have features like recording video or take pictures etc...Overall, this is a good value for the monitor and 2 cameras to monitor 2 kids at once. I have attached a pic with specifications. The battery in the monitor is approx 2500 mAh and should last at least 8 hours. The only negatives are no alert for temperature or VOX, but to offset comes with a long range.
