Q: Can this paper be laminated? i'm looking at ppd matte brochure and presentation paper. is this really a 35 lb paper?

I don't see why not - it is a true 35 lb paper. I have laminated thicker papers. This paper reproduces photos on an inkjet printer beautifully - good stuff.

I print lots and lots of high quality color images on the paper for a type of blog I create (it goes to people who cannot use the internet). I assume you want to create a coloring book, that allows children to color it in. I don't see why not. If you have the time, perhaps you can get a sample and actually try it out. I would recommend that the paper be flat, not bound at the edge. It is something I would try, but since I have not done it myself, I do not have empirical evidence that it would do the job. If you do this, I hope the children have fun!
