I have been looking for a new camping chair for the past several months. My husband and I like to go camping and also sit with friends outdoors around a campfire. So in the past, I’ve always bought the collapsible chairs that come in a bag that were relatively inexpensive. They usually were under $20. Those types of chairs only lasted about 2 years before they would break down. I decided to upgrade this year to a new chair. I debated back and forth between a collapsible chair, an anti gravity chair, or a rocker. Each type of chair had its own pros and cons beginning with value, portability, use, and construction. By and far, the rocker is the best choice. The GCI Freestyle Rocker is on the more expensive side compared to other chairs, but you get what you pay for. The first thing you notice is that there are no bags that it fits in, which is great because who wants to keep up with a bag when you go out. Next, the chair lays flat until you push down on the seat to set it up. Super easy to do, even a child could do it. The material that the seat is made of is very well made and comfortable to sit on. The frame that holds the seat seems very strong. The rocking action is the best part! You seem to move forward and backward with very little effort. When you choose to stop and get out of the chair, it doesn’t seem unstable at all. The bonus to this particular chair was the attached table. No worries to hook or unhook a table that may get lost. The table is affixed with hinges that seemed very strong. The table has 2 cup holders, a place for a cell phone that included a hole for a charging cord, and a cutout that is probably meant for a wine glass stem. There is also room for a book or plate on that same table. All in all this table has now become a favorite in my household and the chair that all our friends gravitate too when we have social events. I would definitely recommend this chair to others and may even buy some more for when company comes to visit.

I have this chair in both red and black, and it’s very comfortable! It folds easily for transport and is perfect for camping, outdoor events, or just relaxing in the yard. The rocking feature is smooth and enjoyable, and the build quality feels solid and durable. The only thing I’d change is the side table — since it’s a rocker, anything you set on it (like food, coffee, or your phone) tends to slide or tip when you move. That said, it’s still a great chair overall. Super comfortable, easy to pack up, and well worth it for anyone who enjoys a good outdoor rocker!

This chair is amazing. I was happy to get it early on before the cost of this chair went up. It's a huge value for what I spent. I enjoy sitting stationary or having the ability to rock back and forth. It isn't too noisy and everyone loves how much stuff that table can hold. I feel completely safe sitting in it since it holds 350lbs. I feel like this unit is easy to fold up, but it will stretch the length of your trunk. Study and comfortable for the amount of cushion. No real assembly required. The maroon color was the cheapest, and I don't mind it at all!

Very sturdy easily folds up so you can transport it. Love that it has a side table comes in handy more than you know. Love the extra l size makes it very roomy and comfortable.

This is a high quality product, and very comfortable to sit in. The only two downsides are that its heavy for carrying (but has a sturdy handle) and that its not the most comfortable to sit on a hill. Due to its rocking ability, it will lean whichever way you're facing on the hill, so it can put strain on the legs.

The GCH Rocker is an absolute winner! Sturdy, comfortable, and stylish all in one. The rocking motion is smooth and relaxing, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. I bought this for my husband, and he absolutely loves it! We’ve been a big fan of GCI chairs for a while, but he loves the tray on this new one, cause he can put his coffee mug on it! These chairs are wonderful for people of size too, they’re nice and wide and super comfortable.

This chair is perfect for plus size gals. I love the rocking action and that it has a cup holder. It is very easy to fold up and take on the go also. I've used on blacktop and on grass and had no issues with the sturdiness. Not sure how it would hold up in the gravel.

Best chair I've ever used at a camp site. It rocks, is sturdy, folds in half and has a tray! It needs oiled more often than I expected.

Bought it as a birthday present. Girlfriend loves it! Can't wait to use it camping. Very easy to set up and easier to close up. Very convenient handles to carry too and light as well. Highly recommend this chair...and the table it comes with is awesome!

I absolutely love this rocking lawn chair. It has a wide seating, side table with different sections . It can be put anywhere, lawn, deck ect.. Overall comfortable

Chaise très apprécié. C'est la deuxième que j'achète et j'adore. Le fait que l'on puisse se bercer facilement et vraiment apprécié La tablette est un incontournable afin d'y déposer nos articles. Bon produit, fiable Le seul défi que j'y trouve pour ma part: est que l'utilisation à l'automne et au printemps est un peu moins plaisante, ça donne le frisson dans le dos. Et oui c'est un jeu de mot. Comme le dos est en filet, c'est un peu plus froid. Si non je la recommande à tous.
