Good, but quinine overwhelms
This is the 6th bitter orange NA spirit that I've tried. What this listing doesn't reveal is that this product derives much of its bitterness from quinine, not just distilled botanicals which is something that i didn't care for. I feel like the quinine overwhelms the spirit. I do give this product higher marks due to using better ingredients than other products like this. Using black carrot for coloring instead of artificial dyes. If you love tonic water, then definitely try this product. If you want bitterness without quinine, then I'd pass on this.

Delicious!
Tastes exactly like Campari! Delicious over ice with Club Soda. Or mixed with Tonic water for some additional tasty bitterness. Great non-alcoholic alternative!

Costly
As a substitute for real Grand Maurnier it is a bit sweet but tasty. I feel the price is high. But compared to the real thing it is not too much, cost wise!

Overwhelming flavor of quinineā¦
Was unable to order my usual product, RITUAL Aperitif, so I bought this one instead. All I could taste was quinine, quinine, quinine. Will not be drinking any more of this. Waste of $$

No African wormwood as described
I wouldāve given this a 4 star but they advertise that it contained African wormwood and if you look at the back of the bottle, it is not listed on the ingredients.

I grew up drinking Campari and Aperol
My people invented the Spritz. That's not a brag. I was lucky enough to spend many summer in Venice (Centro Storico) where the Spritz was the preferred afternoon beverage and of most women. It was known locally as "spritz col bitter" and was more often made with a dry white wine and mineral water. The prosecco and aperol that it seems to be known for in the US pure marketing. Anyway, I gave up alcohol a long time ago. I've tried a few "aperitif" style liquors and this so far is my favorite. It doesn't hint at emulating a blood orange bitter liqueur, it is the real stuff, just no booze. I keep a bottle in my fridge along with any decent dealcoholized prosecco or pinot grigio and a fresh lemon, because the peel makes the drink. Cin cin!

Weāve all been there. The alarm clock goes and you repeatedly hit snooze until you can muster the energy to pull yourself out of bed. It wasnāt even a late one. Just a few beers after work, but by the ripe old age of 27 things are already starting to creep up on you. I stumbled across this though and was genuinely blown away. Firstly, it tastes incredible. Arguably even better than an actual aperol when served with tonic, and why not, throw a slice of orange in too for additional flare. Youāll have a professional cocktail grade drinks in your hands in under 20 seconds, saved a fortune on beers as itās in fact incredibly good value, and no midweek hangover. Result! Iāll definitely be stocking up for Christmas! Amazing purchase!

After trying a few non alcoholic mixer type drinks, I was extremely pleased to have found one which was totally delicious. I bought the Blood Orange variety as my favourite drinks are an Aperol spritz and Campari & soda. I canāt believe how near the taste is to the real full alcoholic versions. I donāt drink alcohol due to health reasons and really miss my cocktails. I like a ābeerā or two with meals, but thereās nothing like relaxing in the sun with a cool cocktail in your hand. I mixed it with soda water and a squeeze and slice of orange. I also mixed it with non alcoholic Prosecco for a more complex tasting spritz. I canāt wait for it to come back into stock, I shall be putting in another order, as I am rapidly running out and the warmer weather is looming fast.

Why is it alcohol-free versions of the alcoholic brands are just as expensive, if not, in some cases more expensive š¤·āāļø This was no exception. It was expensive I thought at Ā£12.79 for what it was. Yeah, it was pleasant enough, quite sharp and tangy in flavour but nice and refreshing. It did set off my heartburn too as itās quite acidic. Blood orange is a nice flavour though. I preferred this with lemonade to sweeten it up a bit and take the tartness from it. Was it anything special? No not really. Iām not a big alcohol drinker so am experimenting with non-alcoholic versions of things as this market is definitely improving in tastes and availability. Yes I like the odd gin and tonic, Baileys or Sheridanās, but generally I can take it or leave it. Iām a big fan of squash thoughā¦.and my opinion is that squash and their tastes and flavours available now are amazing. Something for everyone. For me, this is a glorified over-priced squash quite honestly. Basic cheap squash is nice and I love pink grapefruit, summer fruits, and apple and blackcurrant etc, but then there are slightly more exotic expensive squashes such as my favourite Robinsons Real Fruit Crushed Lime and Mint cordial which tastes just like a mojito, and in my opinionā¦.. is a nicer non-alcoholic drink than this Abstinenceā¦and way way way way cheaper. most squashes have a sugar-free version too, which this Abstinence isn't. Ā£12.79 for basically a posh squash is daylight robbery. I wonāt be buying this again, itās nowt special and the alcoholic version probably better value. If spending this sort of money on a non-alcoholic version of something then the traditional green bottled Non-alcoholic Gordonās Gin beats this hands down, and theyāre in the same price brackets. The gin one is less squash-like and more like real gin. I honestly couldnāt tell the difference. Just my personal opinion obviously āŗļø

Great alcohol-free Campari/Aperol substitute. Makes a lovely long aperitif with slimline grapefruit tonic water: excellent substitute for the real thing if youāre watching sugar/calorie/alcohol intake but need a drink after a long day!
