I love the size and how easy it is to handle

I love their products to begin with and this knife is fantastic

This is a utility knife with a serrated blade; the blade is thicker than a bread knife, but will slice bread almost as well, and it cuts tomatoes, too. It has a full tang. Comfortable in the hand.

I bought an AWESOME Henkels knife on Amazon about 2 years ago and hoped that i could buy another of the same knife. When i went onto Amazon to search Henkels knives, the Amazon order history feature highlighted in the search results feature that this was a newer version of the SAME knife I bought two years ago. I assumed it would have a very minor change. Well, I received the new knife and was astonished to see that it is WAY DIFFERENT than the "original" one that I bought two years ago. The blade is thinner, the handle is less ergonomic, the weight is lighter, there is less metal in the handle. All in all, I feel this was a bait and switch by the feature on Amazon that states "newer version of that product". It is not even close and it was very expensive for the type of knife that it is. I hope Amazon halts the "newer version of the product" feature on the original knife product page because it is misleading. I still think Henkels is a great brand but this particular knife is a very basic, lower quality knife that should be half the price.
