beefy construction
construction is beefy. need a 10mm wrench to tighten bolt; might be better to use a wingnut or thumbscrew for convenience. I used a couple of these to secure a button cell battery in a pair of vernier calipers where I lost the cover which holds the battery in place. Kind of bulky solution but better than throwing the calipers away.

These are a little thin when you tighten them they will bend

Threaded Hole sizes are not what is advertised.
Only the hole with the bolt is 8mm, the other two are 6mm. Wish I had read all the reviews before purchasing.

Works where welding won't!
I was going to throw out my recliner when the frame broke. Just one of these clamps restored it to full function in 15 minutes, using just a 1/2-in. wrench. That literally saved me HUNDREDS!! This was definitely money well spent! THANKS!!
