I've been using this for a few weeks now, it tastes terrible but the first time I used it, it definitely uh... Cleared me out... With a velocity! Don't try this without being within waddling distance of a bathroom! Don't say I didn't warn you... Other than that, I'm not sure if it does much else, I think I'm feeling a little better, sleeping a little better with slightly more energy throughout the day, but I am using other supplements as well so it's hard to pin point what exactly is doing what. So since the bowel movements have become less.. explosive, and I haven't really struggled with constipation anyways since I started eating healthier, or at least I thought I hadn't 🤔 I will continue to take it simply for that fully evacuated feeling. I feel lighter throughout the day and less bloated. I'll probably get Triphala next time as it's a mix between Amalaki, Bibhitaki and Haritaki. I started out taking this on an empty stomach before breakfast but it left me with a knot in my gut that I couldn't really shake for the rest of the day. So I would recommend using this after you've eaten, or with food and on a day you can sit at home and judge how it effects you. Trust me when I say, if it effects you anything like it did me, the mountainess mudslide of madness that's going to come out of you waits for NO ONE! With all that being said, after a few weeks of use I went to get my morning teaspoon of Haritaki and realized there were small pieces of what looked like paper or cardboard in it, I tried getting them out with the intent on leaving a negative review and throwing out the remainder of the bag, but most of them were almost immediately lost in the powder when I tried to retrieve them. I did manage however to get one piece out, and upon looking closer and comparing it to Google images of what the Haritaki plant looks like, I decided that it looks too much like the a shell fragment to assume it's cardboard.. Or at least I'm hoping. 🤞 If I find anything that looks different in the bag I will definitely update this review, but so far so good. A label on the bag stating that fragments may be present would be helpful in letting customers know what it is if they happen to find anything in their bag, instead of assuming the worst and throwing the product away like I almost did. I'll continue using this brand for now as they do seem like a reputable company.

This is a great detoxifying tonic. Its astringent and a diuretic so you will need to drink a lot of water. It has a mild fruity, sour taste and overall pleasant smell. I only take 1/4 teaspoon in the morning and evening, it gives me an overall feeling of wellbeing.

This is a very powerful and highly quality herb. It should be respected. I write this not to cause fear but only to bring awareness and share my experience. I made a tea with 1/4 tsp in 12oz of water for a month and then increased it to 1/2tsp in 12oz of water for another month. I experienced beautiful and super vivid dreams. Beautiful visuals during meditation as well as just before waking up in the mornings. However I also experienced quite a bit of anxiety. I did not realize it was related to the tea I making until I had been drinking the tea for almost 60 days. I stopped taking it and I began to feel better about 2 weeks after I stopped. T Again this is a high quality herb. I will try taking it again at some point and maybe keep the dose at 1/4 tsp or less per day. Thank Banyan Botanicals for providing such an amazing product.

I had first taken this for days and didn't notice much of a difference. I was close to leaving this a poor review for effectiveness, but that soon changed, so you got to give this a good couple of weeks experimenting to really assess how it works. You can't necessarily try it once and expect mind-blowing results. It was only when I stopped taking it that I realized it had been working. It's that subtle for me. When I stopped taking it, I was so tired all day and caffeine wasn't doing anything. Then I thought, "Tomorrow I'm going to try that Haritaki stuff again because I didn't feel this tired on it." I went back to taking it and I had more energy throughout the day. It's just that subtle that I only notice the lack of energy on the days I don't take it. Because the energy given isn't something mind-blowing like an espresso shot or red bull. It's more like a clearer mind kind of energy. In that respect, it gives me more clarity and gives me a pleasant feeling where I'm not in a bad mood, I'm simply content. Therefore, this is probably good for meditation or if you're going for a walk in nature somewhere. It also helps me with a clearer mind for work when focus is needed. I've taken 1/8 in the morning, then later in the afternoon I go to the gym and I feel on fire. It seems to take hours before I really start to notice the changes in my body. I'd start small with 1/8 teaspoon first to assess your reaction and tolerance, then the next day if you're fine with that raise it to the 1/4 recommended. This dissolves best in hot water, which you have to stir vigorously to break it up. Taste wasn't anything to write home about, but also wasn't as bad as some said. Maybe because I added honey to it or put it in a tea to drown the taste. Or because I'm used to taking healthy products that lack in taste. If you want sugar, get a coke. I would recommend drinking tons of water with this or make sure you're hydrated as it might make you dehydrated. Take that as a clue to drink water. I didn't have the negative side effects that others commented on such as nausea, vomiting or having to constantly go to the bathroom. I can't speak for their physical body chemistry or why they'd experience that, but everyone is different. I've always been into healthy products and nutrition for decades. I also watch what I eat. And I work out several times a week with cardio and weights. So the clearing for me is like any other day with this stuff. There probably just wasn't that much in the way of toxins in my body because of that. I suspect those that had massive negative reactions may have been filled to the brim with toxins that needed to be eliminated. Take a look at your diet and what you typically consume as well too. Our bodies and physical chemistry are all different from one another so we will all react differently to a supplement or substance. This may or may not work for you, so it's just a matter of choosing to take the risk in trying it for a couple weeks or not.

I bought this products regularly and it was alway good quality however this time it didn’t test same and looks like was not pure Haritaki. Assuming this time tree was not good or something mix It was testing like Trifala.
