I interviewed my Kubota BX23D (older sub-compact tractor) after a complete fluid change and it seemed happy. The designated fluid for my tractor is Kubota Super UDT...which has been updated to Super UDT2. Since my warranty expired decade(s) ago, I thought I'd try this fluid since it supposedly is a replacement for the Kubota lube. I've noticed the transmission on my tractor is quieter. Time will tell, but for now, this seems like a good way to go if your tractor is out of warranty. If your pride & joy is still under warranty, then you might want to go with the Kubota$$ fluid. This fluid has a rather vivid red color. Not Kubota orange...but close enough.
