Your typical. I feel like we have to leave them in water a little longer to get to the right size. I have noticed they don't explode when shot at from my kids toys. However I don't know if it's the toy guns that are the issue. I've ordered some different ones to compare

Soaked the gel beads for about 2.5 hours and they were ready to go. They grew extremely fast and are slightly smaller compared to an average size water bead. Make sure to purchase the correct size so that they will no jam within your water bead gun. Cool thing about this product is that they fit into other water bead guns and not only Nerf gun brand. Would purchase again as they were cheaper than in store.

Well, 15000 gelfire balls is a alot! They last a very long time, they swell up to full nice nicely and when dry they shrink right back to their original size. They get the job done!
