As expected

This is the second time I have read this book by two different translators. This is a very low-cost paperback version, and it tells the full incredible story of Odysseus and his journey home after the Trojan war. Definitely read this after you read The Iliad.

finally i have found the most perfect translation of The Odyssey i have ever read! this translation is true to form and makes the story informative and any true Greek mythology person will appreciate this book and translation. This has made this story enjoyable and touches on short stories which was enjoyable. i have seen some people complain about the small font but i have no issues with it i guess those people need glasses because it have Bibles with smaller prints. After wasting money on 2 other translation one a poem another a children version masking itself as an adult version with a different take i am just happy to have found this perfect version for me

Easy to read but as an Ancient Greek major, I know that the translation is a bit more simplistic than it should. So good for a casual reading, not good for a college reading.

My age is 45 and now my eyes are failing were now I need reading glass. Hope the printing company can make the book, 10% bigger so they can print a little big text.. so we can read without glasses. One cannot print books to every other's eye power.. but this is just the size of my hand.. only a request to the publishers..

An incredible journey through the sea, ground and mythology beings in "The Odyssey". I wanted to read it and starting to prepare for Nolan's movie as coming. I really enjoyed it, it is a wonderful present. 9.5/10
