This is a must for a diesel ram that pulls
I love it, the stocker is garbage and canโt believe dodge actually uses this crap behind a Cummins. This plate is a common failure when towing more so if you have a tune

Problem solved.
It feels like a quality product when you open the box. It fit perfectly. A nice heavy duty replacement for the OEM flex plate. This truck is a daily driver pulling a trailer that weighs about 8,000 pounds. I'm really happy about the quality precision build on this plate which is substantially heavier than the original.

Watch the slow motion video comparison i did vs stock when starter engages
I am swapping this 12v into a superduty and had been running my engine on a test stand having issues with starter engagement and throwing sparks. When i watched the stock flexplate in slow motion it was insane how much it wobbled when the starter was engaged. It was on an engine stand so there was no converter to add strength but still look at the video comparison between the two. The BD is 10x stronger. - Amazon wont let me upload the video directly or link directly. Search on Youtube for "12v stock vs BD flexplate" and you will see the video. I would never install a stock flexplate again after seeing this.

High quality flexplate
5 stars until this thing gives up....and I seriously doubt it will, rated to 1500ft/lbs tq...I'll never achieve that. My 48RE in my early 2004 Ram 2500 gave up at 200k mile mark, decided to beef up the transmission, I went with a FirePunk Tow Master transmission, anyways, since the transmission was out I decided to put in a new Flexplate just in case. This is what I went with, heavy duty, but not billet, and I haven't had a issue since. Used ARP flexplate bolts with it.

Should fix broken flywheel issues
After my 3rd flex plate broke, I got this for my 89 first gen cummins and it works great so far. If you have the 727 auto you might run into clearance issues with the torque converter. I cutout a spacer and fixed the issue.
