I bought this to help keep the cold and the wind out of my dog's kennel. She has a kennel within a shed and this was used on both the kennel doorway and the pop hole in the shed door. It's difficult to know whether it's made a vast difference as my dog hasn't said anything to me about it but it makes me feel better knowing that it will be a bit more protected.
