This product works for me! I have been using it for over a year now. It clears my open pores without drying out. I follow it with the moisturising fluid with hyaluronic acid. My skin feels hydrated and supple! Only one complaint in that every single bottle, eventually malfunctions! The dispenser does not return to its start position and has to be pulled up manually…. marginally annoying.

Apart from the fact that not one single bottle I’ve ever bought actually works properly it’s great foaming, face wash. I have stopped purchasing it because of this. Unfortunately, the pump action has failed on every single bottle I’ve had (for months!) way before the face wash runs out. This really needs addressing. I’m not dropping it or using it wrong. It just sits in the bathroom cabinet. The Altruist brand product inside the bottle is good value and good quality, which is hard to find. I have rosacea and I'm thrilled to say my cheeks are much less blotchy since I switched to this foam and I’m sure it’s because it is simple, includes soothing ingredients and doesn’t contain niacinamide which I believe may have been badly irritating my skin. Of course skin health is very personal so I can’t guarantee the same will be true for others. The only other negative I can report is that if you accidentally get it in your mouth it tastes vile and it hurts in the eyes so be more careful than me!

I've been a loyal customer of Altruist products and this cleansing foam for several years now, and both my wife and I have genuinely loved using it. The formula itself is excellent - gentle, effective, and leaves your skin feeling clean without that tight, stripped feeling you get with some face washes. However, we won't be purchasing again. The last two bottles we've ordered have had the pump fail after only a few uses. There's no obvious reason for it - we're not rough with the bottles, and nothing has changed in how we use or store them. It's incredibly frustrating to have a half-full bottle of product that you simply cannot dispense. It's such a shame because the actual cleanser is brilliant, but when you're paying for a product and can only use a fraction of it before the dispenser gives up, it becomes a waste of money. I really hope the manufacturer addresses this quality control issue with the pumps, as I'd happily return as a customer if they did. Until then, I'll be looking for an alternative with more reliable packaging. Very disappointing.

Very good product at reasonable price!

I love this stuff. It’s easy to apply and makes my skin feel really fresh and clean. Only 4 stars as the last couple I have ordered have fault bottles and the pump fails days after use. I have now purchased foaming bottles so I just transfer the solution.

First time writing a review! I usually just check other people’s reviews before purchasing products, but this time I wanted to share my own experience. I’ve been using this foam cleanser for the 4th time now. It’s actually the first product I’ve ever repurchased more than twice. My skin type is oily combination skin. When I first bought it, I chose it because of the reasonable price and good ingredients, even though the reviews weren’t amazing. After finishing the first tube, I tried a different cleanser because I wasn’t sure if I should repurchase. But that’s when I realized how good this product was for my skin. So I came back to buy it again, and now I’m on my 4th one. I wouldn’t say this is the best foam cleanser out there, but for my oily skin, it’s definitely the best in terms of both quality and price. It’s really good value for money. My skin doesn’t feel too sensitive or overly dry after washing, which often happens with other cleansers I’ve tried. This one feels perfectly balanced for my skin. The reason I’m writing this review is because I want to support this small business as a big fan of their foam cleanser.

This is the third time I've had this cleansing foam and it is a fantastic product for the first few days but then the pump stops working so you're left with just the liquid which is difficult to use and certainly not as a foam. Sadly I won't be ordering again until the pump problem is sorted out.

The product came without a lid. That does not bother me really, however after 1 day of using is the pump broke and I cant use any longer as it cannot dispense the foam out. And this is not the first time that the pump broke after a few days of using it, as this might be the 3rd time. I love this product as it is very mild and part of the sales goes to charity that is why I keep buying it. But is useless if its broken.
