I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed in these books except that the one book of science does promote the theory as if it were fact about the earth's age. But this presents a good opportunity to discuss that not all books tell accurate facts and reader discretion is advised. ! I bought them as a present for our almost 9 year old autistic grandson for Christmas. There are three books. One on The Ocean, one on Animals, and one of Science covers a variety of subjects from photosynthesis to space exploration in a very simplistic and understandable format.
