Almost 100% germination, attract bumblebees and hummingbirds
I tried a tip from a friend for germination using about 20 seeds. The germination rate was almost 100%. Steps as following (1) soak the seeds in water overnight (2) sandwiche the soaked seeds in between moist paper towels (3) keep the seed/paper towel “sandwiches” in a dark place (I used a black to-go plastic food container with lid on (4) allow ventilation to avoid mold growth (I simply opened the lid daily to check progress). Here is my observation of the germination process. For the first 12-ish days there seemed nothing happened. Then a few of the beans started to swell in size and then started to sprout in a few days. The skinnier/weaker looking beans took longer to sprout, about 3 weeks. But eventually I have more seedlings than I need out of the 20 seeds. In April I planted one seedling in the ground in a sunny spot. And another one in a gallon size pot. The one in the ground really took off after July when the day light became long and temperature gets high (in Houston Texas).it blooms profusely, attracting bumblebees. And hummingbirds like the flowers as well. The one in the pot did grow to reasonable size but barely has any flowers.

45 days later..
Maybe these are tricky to grow. We have some success and have moved the small sprouted seeds to bigger containers. They seem like they are surviving. The others are slow. One just popped up.

Awesome germination!
These grew even though I had them sitting in a drawer for 2 years!

This Blue is Delicious
I love this blue butterfly tea. It’s a nice cool refreshing drink especially with a little lemon. The last pack I ordered was enough for about three people. It has a nice earthy taste to it. It does have some calming effects. It’s one of the best teas that give you a big bang for your buck.

They are fertile, just gotta do it right.
So they came fast, I waited until they grew until i made a review. First I looked at the reviews and did Jayme Alger's steps and example what hew did. And they were FAST. i did as he did where i used sandpaper or a nail file so a bit of the undercoat is visible before soaking for at least 24 hrs and are double/triple the size before using them. I personally did the damp coffee filter in window trick with them and after 2 days 4/12 already had some type of root, while at 5 days they were clearly ready to transplant. so now 5 seedlings are thriving in dirt while the others that were just opening/cracking are in the window growing (if it helps i have a west facing window). Just did it with 12 of the 100 so i can use them as practice and not use them all for the single planter/trellis i have. Amazing price for the amount!! And highly recommend starting them like this.

OK - mediocre germination rate
The germination rate was fair to middling. What did germinate only grew in an average rate - out of the whole packet I only got a few plants from it. It was OK but would not order it again.
