Update 4/21!23: OK. Still rate these a very high 5 star. These have been out of stock, so I tried two other brands. The strings in this were like thread - very thin. It's a weird thing to say, but I LOVE these bags!! _____ I have a brain tumor and get sick daily. I've tried numerous vomit bags. They were all OK, but none of them compare to this one. It's amazing what you get for the money. The bags are very well constructed and leak proof. There is a pad with some chemical inside that helps absorb the vomit. There is a small cloth outside to use as wipe on your face. It the drawstrings are different colors, so easy to find and draw very tight.... even in the height of vertigo. The bags are compact and easily fit in purses, pockets, glove boxes, literally everywhere.

I purchased these just in case for my kids who tend to get motion sick during car rides. Thankfully, we haven't had to use them yet, but just having them on hand is a huge relief. From a quality standpoint, these bags are impressive. They feel very thick and sturdy, not flimsy at all. They are compact enough that I can keep a few within arm's reach in the back seat pocket without them getting in the way. While I haven't tested the absorption personally, the design gives me a lot of confidence for the future. The absorbent pad at the bottom looks like it will handle liquids easily, and the drawstring closure seems secure enough to trap odors until we can toss it out.

They work just as advertised. I bought these for my wife during her first trimester and it was amazing to have these around the house in different spots and in vehicles for when she had to puke. My son has cyclical vomiting syndrome. Random bouts appear out of no where. Other vomit bags have a very small opening, and can’t be sealed. I love that these have some sort of liquid absorber, a large opening and a way to tie them up! They store well and we use them frequently.

These bags are really great. My 9 year-old daughter suffers really badly from travel sickness, and when she was much younger we used to rely on carrier bags as they were big enough for me to hold up to her and her to feel comfy using, but they either sometimes had holes or we didn't have many as we use tote bags for shopping. I then discovered these, and while it may seem wasteful, they have been a game changer. They are small enough for her to hold comfortably, they catch everything, have an absorbent tissue inside as well as a tissue in an outside pocket for cleaning yourself if necessary. At the end the bag can be closed with a secure drawstring ready to be thrown away when you stop. They are nice and flat and tuck away well in your bag or the back of the carseat for travelling. She has taken them with her on school trips, flights and we always have them in the car. My 6 year-old son also sometimes suffers and he uses them successfully too. I do feel slightly wasteful using them, and I'm hoping she eventually grows out of it, but until then if they make her feel more in control and less stressed and also help me to not have to be constantly alert then they are worth it.
