Mile Four Organic Chicken Feed (23 lbs) Starter Chick Mash, Non-GMO, USA Grown, 21% Protein, Corn-Free, Soy-Free, Non-Medicated Chick Feed

I purchased the starter mash (2lb bag) because we did an incubator of chicken eggs this year in my classroom and we were only keeping the chicks for a few days before sending them to their forever home (with one of the students). This mash was organic and had the correct protein content; it looked high-quality and the information in the item listing was thorough and helpful. Mostly though I was looking for a small bag since I’d only be feeding chicks for a few days! This product was absolutely perfect and the chicks loved it. We got hanging feeders and waterers and they worked like a charm.The children did try fermenting a portion of the food too, to see what the chicks would prefer. They did not care for it wet (24 hours or 72). So we just went with feeding it as-is.

My chics love it. Good quality. Happy with the ingredients. Very hard to find a corn free feed so this was a nice find.
