There isnt really too much to say about this. It has a great smell and its burns slowly. Top notch smoking string.

I was anxiously waiting for my candle making supplies to arrive last week, and when this arrived I knew I had made the right choice. This hemp wick is exactly as advertised by the seller, and it comes in a resealable bag. Once my beeswax, from Montana, arrived I set to work. I cut the wick in one longer piece and then doubled it to twist them together. That was the perfect size for votive candles. The wick burned clean with more than sufficient heat to melt the wax at a slow rate. I didn't anchor these to the bottom of the glass, but they still held fast until the last 1/4 of an inch.The one thing that really made me a believer was the lack of smoke when extinguished and relit. Unlike other wicks in store bought candles these wicks have no stench when extinguished. When I run through this roll I will happily purchase again.

I'm new to hempwicking.The price was up there as far as my budget went, but the description sounded believable and health is priceless... and it was available in thick guage.Seems to be waxy just right, smells fine, burns slow and hot enough, cuts easy with scissors and comes in a resealable bag that seems to preserve the product very well.And I like the way it looks; a nice dark brown.Although I am new to hempwicking, this seems like a safe product for adults to use.

Burns clean, no bad taste

I bought this as a novelty item for the benefit of some friends, and then I found that this, in conjunction with an electric candle lighter with a magnetic USB charging cord (Candle lighter is around $15 and good for thousands of uses), is actually notably more convenient and affordable than the butane alternatives.I purchased this hemp ball in August of last year, and it is now July 22, and I have about a foot left of the hemp cord. In the past year I have completely ceased using lighters, and continue to light my pipe upward of 15-20 times a day with virtually no exception.. many more times on some days. I would say, at minimum, I have achieved 6000 uses from this one ball of hemp.Initially I was concerned about ash residue and hassle, however, I found that by extinguishing the wick with my bare fingers, the ashes are easy to control, and I can use the electric candle lighter to light the hemp ball, then light my pipe with only marginally more effort than it would have taken with a lighter.. worst case scenario, I can always let the wick burn while I put down the sparker to pick up the pipe, but I don't find it that challenging to juggle. The primary drawback, to some, of this system is that I have a charred callous where I extinguish the fire which can be a conversation starter. If you kept a slightly damp sponge in an ash tray you could accomplish the same goal without marking your fingers.Health wise, I'm indifferent.. most of the butane burns up, and hemp and candle wax put off carcinogens, so I view them both as very minor potential health hazards.I do like not having to go buy new lighters, and throw away used ones. Even with refillable lighters, they all fail fairly quickly, and there's still butane bottles left to dispose of.

This is the first time I have ever purchased hemp wick, so I can't speak to comparison, but I can provide information on this item as it is.The item came as pictured inside of recyclable bags. They may have even been compostable bags, but composting hasn't really caught on on the east coast yet so I don't pay much attention to that.After I had the wick out of the packaging, I began to look around it for an end to begin unrolling, which is when I ran into my only small issue with this product. I would not call it "user friendly" how I had to get the unrolling started: used a screwdriver to pull the wick end under the wick which was still wrapped in the ball. It wasn't complicated or a terrible hassle, but it could have been easier, that's all I'm saying.The product burns slow enough and had improved the taste of my smoke, which is all I really wanted.If I could give this product 4.5 stars, it would be more accurate. This company does good work and is one step away from perfection.

Love this hemp wick. Burns well -- nice and slow and steady. The best out of all I've used! Really pleasant faint aroma that's difficult to describe... reminds me of riding a horse in the summer from when I was a kid. Feels good in hand, not at all sticky. Since I was very pleased with the first spool, I've ordered about 3 more times (happy that it's Amazon Prime), and every spool in every shipment has been consistently high quality. Packaging is excellent. Highly recommend this Twisted Bee hemp wick.

Lighters, matches not healthy to inhale when lighting your stuff.

I use the 2mm hemp wick for candles and during wick tests it has been one of the few to not produce smoke. Love it.

I was quite sceptical at first, especially regarding the extreme price point of 17 euros at the time. But then I saw how well it works and how much it improves the quality of the smoke (I use it to light up herbal cigarettes) and how easy it is to use. Also, it is such a huge amount of wick, if you smoke a cigarette a day for 10 years youre not going to be remotely done with this wick. I recommend it.
