Decent value for money.
Looks good, does the job and the orange bit right by the end of the barrel is easier to remove making the whole thing look more authentic as a costume accessory. Fired well and actually has a decent amount of power. Happy purchase overall and decent value for money.

Fun
Fun little single shot toy blaster. Bought to use as a costume piece for a ren faire. It doesn't look authentic by any stretch but hey it's cheap and it works. Some of the plastic parts seem a bit flimsy and I could easily see kids breaking them off if not careful.

So cool
I ordered a pair for a pirate costume and I love them. They look so cool and they are really fun to shoot. Well made and not flimsy at all. Love them.

Got two of these pirate pistols for my sons along with some other things to play pirates and they are perfect! Look great and work great.

The hammer you pull back to cock it is extremely fragile
I bought 3 of these for my grandsons aged 3,5 & 6. Starting with the arrival of these, the kids played with them for hours and hours. The one my 3 year old was using had the cocking mechanism break off so that it cannot be cocked by kids and only by an adult with a very high degree of difficulty and having to file down the sharp edges of the break. I unscrewed the decorative hammer from all of the guns, it is purely decorative and serves no useful purpose. I coated the undamaged cocking mechanisms with about a quarter inch of clear epoxy, being careful to not put it where it would stop up the works. This is working very well and the other pistols have been used daily since they opened the boxes. We have never seen the kids have so much fun, and all play together nicely, with any of their toys and it seems they come up with all kinds of interesting games and targets. The guns come with 20 nerf bullets and we actually bought them a 50 pack of compatible ones at Target. I may be unfair in my rating. We aren't sure how the cocking mechanism broke. It may have been dropped on the floor but it should be shaped differently for added strength or made of metal. Otherwise, the pistols are very good quality and considering the amount of use over a short time, I would vouch for it being of above standard durability except for the cocking mechanism. OK, we ordered another one today to make up for the broken one.

Acceptable
The flintlock works fine. Comparable velocities to Nerf brand blasters. However the overall feel and quality of the build feels cheaper than a nerf blaster. At the $14 price point, a Nerf brand blaster would likely have more features and conplexity, so I feel this one is a bit overpriced. In the other hand, if an inexpensive dart firing flintlock is what you’re looking for, nothing about this one should prevent you from buying it. I chose to add some diluted black acrylic paint for a weathering effect, which I feel helped lessen its “cheap” appearance.
