Fright Night: Origins

This is simply a NOVELIZATION of FRIGHT NIGHT the FILM!!? IF YOU SAW THE MOVIE THERE IS NOTHING HERE except MAYBE the LAST THREE PAGES setting up what will be a DIFFERENT STORY. ONE WOULD HOPE?!! Or maybe it will just be a regurgitation of Fright Night Part Two?? TOM HOLLAND did us FANs DiRTY!!! This was such a disappointing book that i returned it and got my money back. THIS IS NO ORIGIN STORY OR PREQUEL???? HOW CAN HE SELL IT SAYING THAT IT IS???! BUYER BEWARE!!! SO UPSET!

Tom Holland is a genius! This is definitely a book with fans in mind! Well-written and a great start to a much anticipated trilogy. More insight is given to characters so that even the most die-hard fans will have much to discover! As for anyone wondering if this is a book for you, this will be a page-turner that will definitely leave you wanting for more. If you love the 80s, vampires, and/or the original 1985 film, this will be the book for you! Grab one while you still can!

This book is great for any fright night geek and long time lover of the movie. I devoured it. great job Tom Holland. <3

I really enjoyed this. Some of the book is the same as the movie. But we get backstories on the vampire as well some of the other characters. I can't wait for 2nd and 3rd book!

The film that this novel is based on is a classic. However, this novelization is laboured with unnecessary background and additional scenes that detract from the flow of the narrative. Compare this to the John Skipp and Craig Spector novelization of the same film. It is much tighter and zippy in its delivery of the narrative.

It was OK but pretty much similar to the first book and the script of the film with a few different details ,I suppose I was just expecting more, maybe the next two books will be better still a good addition to any collection for fright night fans.
