This is my go-to for when I go out of town and the pet sitter takes over. I think it helps keep my cat less anxious. I also used it for the slow intro of my new rescue pup to our family. They also make an adaption version. It is worth a try. When buying refills make sure that the correct plug-in holder matches the bottle. They are different.

I have a high strung kitty, Ferris. In fact he’s really spicy. He has separation anxiety as well. I have one of these one each floor of my house. I know that this product is often recommended by veterinarians, and I know that it can be very useful in many cat anxiety situations. However, it did not seem to have any impact on my particular cat. A pity really because I was hoping it would be an easy solution to some of the anxieties that she demonstrates. Therefore, I would recommend that you get a single container if you have not used this with your cat before. If you have used it before, and it has a positive impact on your cat then without doubt this is the most economical way to get refills.

So grateful to say makes male and female cat both more calm. Male Max can get especially aggressive…calms him down almost immediately. Suggested by a friend. Thought too good to be true. Read actually extends cats lives because it is so calming.
