First, I am HARD on phones and phone cases. Dropping, tossing, slamming, you name it and I've probably done it. The only damage I've had with this phone case happened while I was hiking. I had it in my back pocket and sat on a rock causing dents in the wood backer. Otherwise, it has been amazing.The magnet is powerful and holds well! The texture of the case holds well in the hand, but will smooth out a little overtime.I would buy this again and not hesitate to recommend it to others. If you are looking at it, buy it.

12/11/22 Update: Replacement unit arrived, and there's no button rattle on the replacement unit. I think this means that the quality control has drastically improved compared to the cases that were available at iPhone's launch. I've updated the review and rating accordingly.Tons of reviews online, so I'll refer to those resources. Do know that there's a rattle caused by the floating buttons, and it's not very well documented by the reviewers. Buttons rattle just gliding over them. It drove me crazy, so I was curious if this was a tolerance issue and whether Mous could send me another one to try out, which brings me to the next part of the review...For a company that prides itself on service, the service I received was WONKY. After I contacted them, the first representative said that this was normal and they won't be sending a replacement out. They also encouraged me to return it if I didn't like it.I was about to return until ANOTHER representative said that they'd issue a replacement... In about 2 weeks time, I followed up twice to inquire when the replacement would be shipped out. They promised that it'll be sent out whenever some batched orders are ready from the warehouse. HUH? As of Oct 31, replacement still not here, and the email that promised replacement was first sent on Sept 30th... Still waiting a month later...At this point, I've completely lost faith whether it'd arrive and I've returned the case.My recommendation: If you're clumsy and think you need more protection, Mous might be fine. However, for the overwhelming majority of population, I'd recommend lower profile cases, such as those made by Caudabe.

A beautiful case that only adds to the beauty of the phone. The walnut insert is thin, but securely seated in the back panel. The raised and reinforced corners can take a fall from waist level and barely take a scuff. I only wish the material was “grippier” as it can be slick with dry hands. Easily my favorite case so far, and I’ve tried at least a dozen.

So I usually will buy OTTERBOX Defenders for all my phones BUT I DECIDED TO TRY THIS AND I LOVE IT!! I usually find myself dropping my phone quite a bit but I have only dropped my phone once this month. It’s very grippy and I love the wood accent on my white phone. I’d recommend pairing it with the SPIGEN screen protector. I officially a MOUS FAN!

Just bought this iPhone 14 Pro Max case with high hopes on Prime Day. Even with the discount offered, it was still one of the most expensive cases on Amazon. It has great reviews and was super disappointed to find that there are manufacturing defects, mainly sharp edges that make it uncomfortable to hold. I used the case for a few hours and my hand started to feel irritated like someone scrubbed my skin with sandpaper. It literally put a red irritation on my hand (see image). There is a slight gap where the wood doesn’t line up with the molded plastic like case. There is a slight elevation and that creates a sharp edge. It’s unavoidable as you need to hold your case. I’ve never felt a phone case with these fine sharp edges like this and was baffled to see that many others have reported the same thing here in the reviews. It seems like a manufacturing defect that needs to be addressed, especially at the high price they are asking. I returned the case in less than 24 hours after receiving it.
