Harder than your average puzzle! Great concept and lots of fun.

My grandchildren (5 and 10 years old) asked for this for Christmas. They loved doing it together as a family!

We really liked the concept of this puzzle. It was a little rough to put together with the differences, but we appreciated the challenge and even had some "aha!" moments through it that were fun. The limited color palette was also a challenge, but it was generally a good experience despite that. However, it's missing 3 pieces out of the box. We're pretty meticulous about how we organize puzzles and where we keep them to make sure we don't lose pieces while we work on them over the week, and we didn't find these pieces at all. One of them was also an edge piece, and one had a character from the puzzle pretty much all out. That was really a bummer, which is why we dock it one star. The puzzle took about 10-15 man-hours for us to complete.

This was a challenge, but solving the mystery was really fun!!

This puzzle was pretty fun. The "surprise" isn't a huge twist but it's cute. It was a really hard puzzle though. Since you can't 100% use the reference poster as a reference due to the "twist" you're flying somewhat blind. Given how detailed and varied the artwork was it made it a real challenge. Which was not bad but I was incredibly disappointed to finish it and realize after all the energy and time i invested in it and also the fairly high price (for a puzzle) that i paid it was missing pieces. Mine was missing 2 pieces which was hugely disappointing to not have a finished piece after all the time and effort it took. That being said the quality is good. The pieces are sturdy and the artwork is nice.

These puzzles really add an extra degree of fun to puzzling! The puzzle picture is a little further along in time than the box picture. You have to work it to see what’s going on.

Great puzzle, peices are great quality and the art is amazing

We love puzzles but go through a traditional 1000 piece too fast. Although this was expensive, the gimmick in which the box image differs from the final image gave us much more fun and bang for our buck. The comic and such are probably more for kids - they were cute but we didn't really care. As far as puzzles go: - few if any false fits - no missing pieces (in either puzzle we tried) - nice colors and artwork - came with 2 posters, awesome for working on it in pairs - somewhat dusty pieces - generally pretty tight fits, satisfying to fit together

J'ai offert ce puzzle a ma femme qui est une fan de puzzle, et elle trouve ca super sympa ce nouveau concept de puzzle ou l'image est differente de l'image orinigale. Ca ratjoute vraiment cette envie de voir ce qu'ils se passe en plus de rendre le puzzle plus dure et plus interessant.

Puzzle design looks great, but box was damaged.

The cost is high but because of the level of difficulty it makes it a little bit more worth while! Kids enjoyed helping but did not like the degree of difficulty

I was hoping this would be more like The Magic Puzzle Company, but I was left a bit disappointed with the ending. A few intriguing puzzle pieces which is always fun, but the storyline wasnt for me. Quality of pieces was good. I would say on the difficulty scale, this would be a 6/10
