I have had problems with stink bugs getting into my house from the AC for about 3-4 years and I was losing my mind. I needed a solution because tape was not working. I purchased 3 of these for each one of my window units and I did not have 1 stink bug in my house! What a relief ! If you have the same problem I have this is your solution! This cover has straps so if it’s too big of a fit you can tighten around your AC. I still taped all the edges around the window seal but it prevents all bugs from entering through the vent!

My new little LG 1/2 ton window shaker vents on top outside. The window is just 3 feet off a dusty alley on a west wall. Top protection is good! So I tried this well constructed cover as prescribed upon arrival yesterday.That compressor started yelling a good 20 decibels louder. NOT GOOD. This morning I turned it upside down & properly cinched all the excess (its still too big) by the window side under the back strap.... Whallah (sp) it's perfect and back to the normal low volume.

It was able to cover the back of my AC which prevents bugs and debris from getting inside the AC. When we were setting it up, one of the buckles snapped off so not very durable but it does stay on and has on all summer and fall without coming off. Just be careful when tightening it so it doesn't break on you as well.

Installed on new ac in small wood shop under oak tree, last one was full of leaves and other junk. This screen fits perfectly and ac is clean inside.

Make sure you check the size before ordering. They work great keeping leaves, bee's etc. Out helping to keep your coils cleaner , Saving the LIFE of your window ac unit. Also make sure each season you take the unit back out to proper cleaning of the unit and the coils. If you don't do this then your one that will be purchasing a new ac unit every other season. Spray your coils with coil cleaner then WD40 the inside coil is your main coil to clean getting all the Dust and dirt out..

I don't know why almost every customer said in their reviews that this Mesh Cover blocks the bugs from coming into the air conditioner when it is not true. I was using it for a few days, and nothing stop the gnats and big flies from coming in, even though I live on the second floor and the trees are not that close to me. The only thing positive I could say about this net cover is that when it comes to dripping or hard rain, I didn't hear as much, but I don't want to keep it for only that reason alone. I wrote to the seller about it and seller told me to return it.

We had so many moths and fireflies getting into our home and figured the only way they were coming in had to be through the A/C. Sure enough this fixed it! We have a 10k btu Midea and it fits fine with a little extra space that the straps take care of.

It was easy to install, the quality is great for the price and it does the job! I came home to a bee in my bedroom 4 days in a row last summer, not to mention the occasional moth at night. Since I installed this I haven’t had an issue. I’d recommend 10000%
