There is really just one reason why this is not 5 stars. It has to do with the long charging time. I ran down the battery to see how long it would take. As I suspected, it was over 7 hours. That would be a problem for me if the power is out for longer than a day and I have to use solar the next day to charge it. I think it would also not be a good light for camping since there is practically no way you could charge it fully the next day. This is mainly due to the fact it seems their goal was for it to work with standard USB-A connector that supplies a limited amount of current as compared to the high charging current of other USB-B plugs. I bet that was to save manufacturing cost as it also does not come with a charger (on a flimsy cable is provided. It should allow both for faster charging that a car or higher power block can provide.Aside from the above, it is VERY sturdy, well built, and has a super bright light. As someone else said, it would be nice if there were more separation in the 3 different levels of brightness that are available. The ability to have a red light is a good idea for night for better visibility that your pupils don't contract due to a white light and it saves a lot of battery. The battery will last much longer in that mode.

Works great. And the red light looks cool but for some reason the battery drains fast on the red light.

This thing is insane bright. Definitely need to turn it down, but perfect. Great size, I love it can serve as a power bank. Very handy.

I have now owned two of these lanterns and absolutely love them. Easy to charge, bright, durable, versatile, hold the charge. I have used this lantern both on a sailboat as an aux. source of light and in a shed. 3 levels of brightness, and brightest is very bright. On boat this lantern has fallen from storage, has rolled around while underway and has been able to hold a charge for a long time. It's a quality latern that I feel has been so useful. Have purchased two about a year apart and both have worked great.
