Shipped with Win 7, which is what I wanted. The battery life is phenomenal. I do programming, so I can stretch the battery to ridiculous duration. The laptop was a much needed upgrade. This laptop only accepts ddr3L "Low Voltage" memory. I tried to use ddr3 from an older laptop, but the T460 did not allow it.
