I use it on my Fender Electric Acoustic. I have arthritis so not easy for me to learn without something like this. True I just play around with the guitar every. Once in a while but I can play Sweet Child of Mine because of the Chord Buddy

It works OK but could be better built. Very good for some one starting out. I got this on March 13 and have stopped using it already. I am new to guitar so it helped some. The only thing is it now cost more then I paid. I got a deal. If you are looking for more books check target on line. Some good values there. My only problem is the thing just does not fit as good as it should. Very hard to get it fit right. But it does work.

I was having trouble installing the product so I called customer service and left a message describing my problem. The next morning Travis the owner and inventor himself called and walked me through the process. This is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be able to play a song on the very first day that they put it on their guitar.Travis was also super nice and very concerned about his customers being happy!!!

I did need to look on youtube to get help on the install but after that I was good! Or on the DVD it has video instructions too. I have tried so many guitar teaching tools and i always gave up, but with Chordbuddy I instantly saw results and learned my first song ( sweet home alabama.) This helps you get your picking and strumming down then you slowly remove the chord buttons as you progress. It also helps you build up your finger strength. Tons of materials that costless than about 1 physical lesson LoL.

Yes, it takes some manipulation of the device to get its' placement just right.But with some care, it should work on most all full size guitars.My 30 year old daughter loves the fact that she can finally play the guitar with good success.You can only play some of the basic chords, but most songs can be played easily with just a few minutes of serious effort being applied.My 5 year old grandson is also having a "blast" with the ChordBuddy.

I really wanted to like this item. I've had a desire to learn the guitar for a long time now and thought this would be a huge help. Unfortunately I was wrong. The idea is sound and if this product had a little more effort put into it, it could be amazing. The plastic is flimsy and the little arms keep falling out of place. I've had to constantly readjust it and every time I do it messes things up. The biggest problem was the chord buzz I was getting from my guitar. I've tried it with every configuration of strings you can imaging. From X-light to heavy and bronze to steel and nothing could get rid of the chord buzz which didn't happen when the Chord Buddy was not installed on my guitar. Like I said, I really wanted to love this and gave it every opportunity imaginable but it just want worth it. Its since been returned.
