Spicy and crispy. Good blend. Economical compared to premade oil.
Pretty good mix. At first I thought the cinnamon was a little strong but as it blends longer it becomes subtle. I made about 2 quarts with the 1lb. bag. I used extra virgin olive oil and fried fresh garlic and shallots to add to the mix. It's fairly spicy but it makes me sweat, more than burns my mouth. Literally dripping sweat and wiping my nose but not mouth spicy. Will buy again when I'm getting low. Would recommend for spice lovers.

Love this mix.
This diy organic mix is the real deal. I love that I can use my choice of oil and don’t need to rely on the store bought seed oils they always use. The flavor is on point. I also love that there is no salt added. I add a bit myself, but like that I have control over that ingredient.

Wonderful vibrancy of flavor and heat
I was desperately looking for not only organic chili oil and or crisp but one that didn’t have an inflammatory oil. I opted to give this a shot and I’m so glad I did. I infused avacado oil with tangerine peel by heating and transferred the hot oil to a flip top container with a good helping of the dry crisp. I also added a dash of organic five spice to the oil and slowly poured into the mix. Crackling and popping away, I slowly stirred together and let it steep with a hunk of peeled ginger root that I would remove after steeping. Wonderful stuff! I will never purchase premade chili crisp again.

W.O.W.!!
I discovered chili crisp oil only several months ago from YouTube and decided to try it. There were so many brands but I chose Don Chilio jalapeno flavor because it was easily accessible at my local Meijer store for around $6 and most importantly it had the cleanest ingredients made with olive oil. I was hooked! I put it on almost everything savory, eggs, pizza, burgers, etc. It is so tasty. I recently found out Meijer no longer sells it so I went online to purchase it - it's anywhere from $13-15 for a 5oz jar! I was shocked it was so much! I couldn't justify buying so I thought I'd make my own. I stumbled upon this organic product and all I had to do is lightly heat up a neutral oil for it. I used EVOO that is specific for cooking and W.O.W.! I can't believe how easy it was to make and the taste is outstanding! Even though the 1 pound bag was pricey, it will last me quite a while with $$ savings. So glad I splurged on this. I will keep buying this as long as the company doesn't raise their price!

Excellent mix, I am very happy with it.
This is a good mix. I have made my own, but I am always missing one thing or another, so I thought I would try this. It's really good and makes things so simple. There's no recipe on the box or this site, so I thought I might relay what I did to make a really solid jar of chili crisp. Mix 2:1 ratio of oil to mix. I used EVOO, half cup of mix, one cup of oil. Heat the oil, don't smoke it, dump it over the mix. I added a TSP of soy, TSP fish sauce, 2 TSP unseasoned ride wine vinegar. That's it. It taste as good or better than any prepared chili crisp sauce I have tried, and I have tried many. I look forward to playing around with the recipe as soon as I finish this first jar (it will not be long).

Spicy but not killer hot
Spicy but not killer hot. Lovely texture. We prefer this to any other chili crisp that we have had to date, and we have had quite a few.

Crisp...Yep
I like the flavor, don't like the crisp. I thought the crispness would go away after soaked in Olive Oil; nope. It's crisp and gonna stay crisp no matter how long it sits in oil.

Delish!
This chili crisp is absolutely delicious! It's hot but not over the top spicy. And the Cassia cinnamon and cardamom put it over the edge. Highly recommend it!
