Paper Cuts: How I Destroyed the British Music Press and Other Misadventures

Excellent account of the weird, wild world of music journalism.
Having been a Q subscriber for many years ( now sadly no more ) I was interested to read how Kessler reached the heights of ‘editor’. This is a great read. If you’re a music fan, music mag reader or simply inquisitive about music journalism and the crazy world of rock stars then this is a must for your collection.

Gripping
As someone who devoured the British music press from teenage years onwards, this book was a revelation. Highs, lows and the in between. I especially enjoyed how he described his life in France as a teenager. Ted writes with great self awareness and I look forward to his next book with eager anticipation.
