I have thick wavy hair. To get it straightened I apply this before styling. When I use it on damp hair, it’s a softer finished touch. When I use it on dry hair and then straighten it, it’s a bit more stiff but the style lasts longer. Scent is mild, can create volume, last long for the price. Will buy again.

I only use it PRIOR to curling my hair and only use it a section at a time because it is sticky and has a VERY STRONG HOLD. It works best before air-styling my hair and using the coanda curling attachment on my Shark Glam. It does a great job at protecting my hair and keeping the curl. I spray it, brush it, curl it, and then I pin the curl up. After I'm done, then I take the pins out after it has set and run my fingers through it. You won't be able to brush your hair due to the hold, but if holding a curl and longevity is what you are after, this is for you. It also SMELLS AMAZING!! I want a perfume that smells this good!

Let me start by saying that products that perform miracles on everyone else's hair never seem to work for me. It could be my hair: super-fine, but a lot of it (at least until menopause & COVID); some natural curl, more frizz actually. But this could be a holy grail for me. I use this on dry hair before styling with a curling iron. It does make my hair a little crunchy, but I actually need that for my hair to hold a curl, if that makes sense. The crunchiness eventually goes away, but the curl and volume last. There is no product buildup to weigh down my hair. I had to take away one star for the smell. Oh the smell!!! Reminds me of wet dog and lasts until I wash it out. I'm hoping that it was just my bottle, and maybe the next one won't smell as bad. If you have impossible hair like me, you might want to give it a try.

If you have stubborn hair that does not like to hold a curl or style, this stuff is amazing. I have stuck straight Asian hair (on the medium to thinner side) and my hair never holds a curl. I have the Dyson air wrap and saw so many people say their hair won’t hold a curl with it. I found that this stuff works perfectly with the air wrap and with any other heat styling tools and holds my style for DAYS. A little goes a long way, and it can feel sticky when first applied. I like to brush my hair after applying to distribute the product more and I’ve found the sticky feeling goes away. My hair doesn’t feel crunchy after and I don’t even need hairspray! The best part is it protects your hair from heat damage. I do wish the spray bottle was better as it can be difficult to apply. Definitely hold the bottle far away from your hair and apply while letting your hair “fall” while picking it up and letting stands down gently.

I’m not sure if this is the real stuff or not, I ordered it after seeing it on the Blowdry Prof’s YouTube, but it is absolutely awful. I have had my hair virgin and down to my lower back, styled with hot tools constantly for years with minimal breakage ever, I’ve also had it bleached blonde and used hot tools for years with minimal breakage, I’ve done it all. I’ve never struggled with safe heat styling and have been uptight about the products I use for over a decade. But this product? This product I’ve used twice now to heat style my bleached hair on a LOW heat setting (320, nothing close to the 450 it claims to go up to) and it’s fried it right off. First of all, it leaves a really sticky, crunchy residue on the hair, so you have to separate your sections extremely carefully if you overspray. I only spray on the section I’m about to style, letting it dry first. It’s a process. But this stuff destroyed my bangs and ends after just two uses, two weeks a part. I literally wash my hair once a week, heat-styling it halfway through the week to refresh my look. I’ve never had such a bad experience with a hair care product ever.

This spray seems to work well. I gave it 3 stars because it's sticky and I'm 50/50 on the smell.

Still getting used to it. It does hold curl for days.
