Giro 2012 Women's Manta Mountain Bike Shoes (White/Silver/Plum - 37)

These are good for a starting pair of road bike shoes. The tongue dug into my ankle which made me sore in that area the next day. I have a small and narrow foot and these were perfect. Anyone with an average size foot will have to go up a few sizes as the other reviews state.One of the screws on the bottom of my shoes were missing but I didn't realize it until I was about to do a race, which I was able to do without the screw but be sure to check them when you get them. If you are rough on your rides or fall, be aware that the ratchet may pull out, as it did for me when I un clipped from my pedals. Otherwise the shoes were reasonable for the price.

My wife bought the shoes for cold weather riding with heavy or double socks. She has the identical shoe in a smaller size for warm weather. She likes the color scheme and the adjustable clasp. I like the sturdy construction and the discounted price. However, the shoe definitely runs a bit small and the Velcro straps should be longer for someone like my wife who has a high arch. The straps are just barely long enough to make the attachment. But, my wife is happy with the shoes and that's all that really matters :-)

I bought a pair of these shoes last season to replace another pair (different brand) that seemed to cause "hot foot." These were reasonably priced and compatible with my SPD cleats. The features seemed to take hot foot prevention into account, so why not try them, I thought. I will say, I also bought the Giro supernatural fit insoles with arch support, and have them in my shoes. I rode over 3600 miles last year in those shoes and never got hot foot once!I'm the type of person that when I find something I like, I stick with it. So, even though the shoes I bought last year are still in very good shape, I bought a second pair to have in reserve. I don't want to have to try to find a decent pair of cycling shoes several years down the line. These have everything I need and are very reasonably priced, even with buying the extra insoles.I don't know about the shoes running small as stated in another review. I generally wear a women's 7 - 7.5 shoe, and I ordered a 39 based on the Giro sizing chart. The shoes fit great, and I can even wear heavier sock comfortably on those cold days.

Too small than regular size. I bought the shoes being outside the country and at the end lost money.

I have narrow feet and they would've worked perfect if I had one size bigger. It seems that they run a little small so I would suggest getting the next size up. These are definitely not for people with wide feet. I would suggest iZumi if you have wide feet.I also loved that these shoes had an arch support in them. I would definitely recommend these!!

I followed the Giro website sizing instructions but when the shoes came I could barely get my feet in them. My feet are narrow so the width was fine, it was the length. I returned them and ordered a full size larger. Terrific shoe otherwise. I love the racket-style top buckle. Nice looking shoe too.

Fits fine but It would fit perfectly if it were a 36.5 eruo size. I'm usually a size 36eruo but when I tried this on, i could feel my toes at the tip of the shoes. I can still wear it but only with not so thick socks.

They arrived on time and were a perfect fit. I am a size 9 in women's and these were perfect!
