This book offers a pictorial choice page, that gives you thumbnails of every recipe in each section to help you compare and choose the one you want to make. I wish all cookery books had this!

If you love Mary Berry, this is the book! All her best known recipes, in both English and US cooking measurements. Lots of photos.

Saw this chef recently on Public TV, and was so interesting, just had to buy her book.

I didn’t know much about Mary Berry until I started watching a British cooking competition show where Mary was a judge. This led me to explore her culinary repertoire, thus coming across this cookbook. I chose it particularly because I wanted to delve more into British cookery. I feel that I made the perfect choice. This cookbook literally covers it all from appetizers to soups, to salads, to entrees, and a few others in between.Overall, the recipes are easy to follow and not overwhelming at all. Ingredients can easily be found from a standard supermarket.Thus far I tried out a couple of recipes (refer to pics), and hope to try more. Cheers!

The outside cover of the book came dented and the first page has pulled away from the spine. The book content looks appetizing.

Love this cookbook, a staple on my kitchen counter. Only complaint is that the cookbook does not provide any alternative (American) measurements or temperatures. It is a bit of a pain to have to check every time to be sure I am correctly translating from metric to US, but that is really the fault of US for not having ever bothered to switch. Darn! I am slowly trying to collect more metric-based cooking tools so that the problem will get easier to solve. Regardless, it is worth the effort as the recipes are simple, excellent and almost foolproof.

This cookbook is great. I bought it for my wife and she loves it. My 15 year old daughter went front to back, straight for 2 hours. It has colored index tabs made into the book down the right side, index in the back, euro to american conversions, colored pics of every cooked recipe at the beginning of each chapter so you know what it should look like. 3 silk ribbons fixed to the book for book marks. Absolutely well made and well thought out. If every cook book was like this, the art of cooking would still be the norm. Don’t hesitate on this cook book, you won’t be disappointed!

Is perfect for every ocassion, it has all you need to know with tons of recipes, a must have!
