Bought for my 10 year old grandson.
Perfect build for my 10 year old grandson. Can be upright or turned into the truck. Great design and gave him a couple of hours of entertainment when building it. Now is part of a display in his bedroom.

Great Set for Older Kids, Fun but a Bit Fragile
My seven-year-old son wanted this for Christmas, and he loved building it! He only needed help with a couple of pieces, which was impressive. However, I’d recommend this set for older kids, as it’s a bit fragile, especially around the ball joint connections. Overall, it’s a fantastic, detailed set, but handle with care for display or gentle play!

Fantastic LEGO representation of the autobot leader
I am very impressed with this kit, it's a great representation of Optimus Prime. In my opinion, the build is easy overall; I spent around 10 hours on this and had a great time putting this together.The only downsides I can find are with some joints. The shoulders and elbows are pretty good, but it would be nice if they were just a bit more stiff. The waist seems really loose though, which I think is compensated for by having the grill fold in a bit.He stands very well, even while hold his gun and axe, whether or not the jet pack is on. The transformation process is super easy, and I love the redesign to accommodate the hands vs. removing them like the old toy. As a truck, I wish the arms and cab locked into place just a bit more, similar to how the legs lock together.My biggest complaint though? There's no trailer?!! 😂 Hopefully they would consider a secondary set to add the original trailer design of the G1 toy.Overall, very happy with this purchase and the build process. Considering this is more for display, I don't mind the loose joints.
