Quick Thinkers
Cute, short brain teasers. Each read was short and to the point. The questions following were thought provoking. I can see where the party games at the back would be fun with a crowd of friends.

Can You Solve It
Although the book is very lengthy, you wouldn't read the entire thing at once because there are fifteen short stories that each have a mystery to be solved. The stories are enjoyable and ideal for both traditional classroom instruction and homeschooling. These are excellent to read through as a group and attempt to solve. They are ideal for enhancing both your reading and comprehension abilities. If you wish to verify if you were correct or if you run into a problem and need assistance, the solutions are given in the book's back. This is ideal for children between the ages of 8 and 12, although depending on the youngster, it may also be appropriate for kids older and younger than that age.

Very short fun
I wanted very short riddle like mysteries for my son to solve. These were the best I found to fit that need. I read two of them and they were exactly what I was looking for. There is usually some inconsistency in people's statements or an obvious clue as to the answer.... but it might take a while for the kids the put it together.

Great Brain Stretching Stories
Terrific brain teasers for middle grade (or above) readers. These fifteen stories provide the clues needed for Hailey Haddie to solve the mysteries and also offer readers the chance to do the same. Similar to Sobol's Encyclopedia Brown and Two-Minute Mysteries series. Readers have the chance to read the story then go back and find the clues offered. Answers are given at the back of the book. Great short story to share with classes to encourage listening and processing skills.

Not for small children
Didn't like, too gory

Not complete stories
These are basically one scene from a story. Each is kind of like interviewing a criminal and then trying to decide what really happened. Each is about 4 short pages. And as an adult usually I can’t even figure out.

Not great on kindle
I love the concept and the stories, but thanks to the paragraph highlighting from other readers the key parts where the critical clue is in ebook have all been flagged, spoiling the game. Would def recommend in paperback tho

Great book
I bought this for my children as I struggle to keep them up with how many books they read. This was really great - something a bit different, and got them both thinking and talking together about the clues.Short enough for a quick read before dinner. I love the premise, and my children liked reading something different to their usual kids novels.
