TRY WEARING IT THIS WAY AND ADD A SNAP...
Could be a bit softer at the edges and a bit cooler. I do NOT were a T-shirt underneath it. I get hot with too many layers and it is perfectly comfortable without it. Tends to creep down a bit a tiny bit without it but not enough for concern. Quite good for the price. If you have an outboard laser on your pistol (as opposed to grip lasers) do not attempt to put anything larger than a medium/small pistol in it. My KelTec PF9 with picatinny rail mounted laser is a great fit with really no extra room. I can't see putting a 1911 in it. I found a great alternative way to wear this band. Above the belly about 4 inches under the armpits. Carried in this way with the pistol under the arm you have absolute concealment. Since this elastic slides on bare skin when pulled I am able to put the pistol into the low and centered ready-to-draw position in less than a second. There is no creep in this configuration (especially for us guys with a bit of a gut). The only portion of this product that I feel very poorly about is the non-intuitive rinky-dink Velcro strap designed to hold the pistol in. It is more than strong enough for the job but it seems the mating position is a little odd. You need to attach this visibly...not great in the dark. If you are at all handy pick up self install snap closures like I did Dritz Heavy Duty Snaps - White - Size 24 - 5/8" - 7 Ct. and heavy duty snap tool Dritz Heavy Duty Snap Tools. I got the 7 piece snap pack because I figured I would screw a few up. You should apply snaps at both pistol pockets while your at it. You should burn your openings (soldering pen or awl, punch, small Philips screwdriver, etc. heated on a stove burner on HIIGH ) so there is no fraying down the road. It takes just a few minutes to install and allows tactile strap and unstrap. This is a great product for the price. Do your sizing carefully. Enjoy

Great holster/band!
I really like this band. I carry a Glock 27 and it fits great. I purchased the medium (I'm a 32 waist) and the velcro is at the smallest point when on which would allow for quite a bit more expansion if needed in the future. It's most comfortable over a shirt, but I've worn it over bare skin - depending on what position you orient your gun I didn't have any problems with it being uncomfortable - the fabric didn't seem to bother me at all. It has 2 holster-pockets for if you want to orient the firearm one side or the other. I like placing my CWP card (and sometimes my cell) in the other pocket. The band breathes very well (all of it's perforated). I would actually prefer if the holster pocket wasn't 'cause if worn against skin I notice perspiration on my firearm after exercise - minor point thought for the purpose and function. It seems to hold the firearm real well (with limited exercise - I haven't jogged with it). Durability wise I think it should hold up if I take care or it. I purchased it for $16 and for that price you can't beat it. I haven't tried others to be able to compare it to, but for the price I'm very surprised at how well it meets my expectation and needs. Would definitely recommend.

Good enough
This was purchased for carrying a S&W .380 Bodyguard with one extra magazine. The velcro in the elastic holds very well, and the pockets seem to be big enough to accept a slightly larger pistol, although I'm not sure if a full-sized pistol will fit well. I like the Velcro strap that goes over the handle in order to secure it in the pocket, which is a concern with the small pistol I carry in it. It can be hiked up and moved around to be worn cross draw under the arm. It's still pretty comfortable there, and even with my belly (I'm currently 6', 260lbs) it conceals well and doesn't show through a loose fitting t-shirt. The band can also be positioned for wearing IWB on just about any position (I've only tried the 3 o'clock and small of back). This band will fold when you sit if you wear it IWB, especially if you have a bit of extra baggage around the middle. The pistol will stay put, though. It started to fold when worn for under the arm cross draw, b/c my gut pushed it up while sitting. This is not a big problem and is easily fixed. For the price, it makes for a good, comfortable holster. I especially like it in the evenings when I want to carry at home but don't want to wear jeans or a belt (i.e., when I want to wear sweat pants or pajama pants). This gives me a IWB holster for those times as well.I can see this holster feeling hot in the summer (it's April and still in the 40s where I live, so I can't say for sure). Anytime you add a tight layer of material to your torso and wear it all day, it's going to feel warm. I wish there were magazine loops on both sides, but they are only on one side. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend it as a first try at belly band-type holsters before you spend tons of money on one. Use this one to see if you'd even like it, or use it as a holster for those times when you don't want to wear tactical pants or jeans but something more comfortable.

I own a Glock 26 Gen 4 and it fit nicely and the craftsmanship of the band was good
I received the belly band holster the other day and I used it for the first time last night when I went for a jog. I own a Glock 26 Gen 4 and it fit nicely and the craftsmanship of the band was good. The only issues I have with it is the magazine straps should be placed one to two inches closer to the gun holster and it should be made with a sweat guard on the inside of the band. As positioned, the magazines tend to stick you in the ribs. If the magazine holsters were placed one to two inches close to the center, I think it would work a lot better. Lastly, I thought for some reason this belly band came with a sweat guard on the inside of the band, but my gun was soaked with sweat when I finished my run. That was not a big deal, because I wiped off my gun at the end of the run. Overall, for the price, the belly band worked as advertised.
