It was worth the wait
The staff took forever to arrive, not due to Seller but courtesy of USPS losing the first attempt. As soon as it was determined the shipment was indeed lost in transit, Seller immediately 1) apologized and 2) shipped a replacement.The staff itself is excellent quality. Too many "teak" articles on the web are not actually teak, or at least not teak heartwood. The wood used in this staff is beautiful, dense, rich color teak. It is unfinished so that it will accept teak oil. Because this is an item that won't be in the weather intentionally, I will likely finish it to a glossy finish to match my tiller. I can't wait to see what it looks like installed.

Nice 24" Ensign Staff
We put a windshield on our antique boat so needed a 24" ensign staff to replace our 18" ensign staff, and get up over the new windshield. This unfinished teak ensign staff is just right and ready to finish.
