I’m one of those smokers who can’t stand having cigarette butts in my ashtray, so I love this! I gave it 4 stars because it’s not as easy as you’d think to drop the butt down in the tray. Then there’s the fact that it’s loud when the room is quiet, you’re trying to drop the butt in the ashtray, and your husband is asleep. I’m like “oh crap!” and then I immediately look at him to make sure he’s still asleep. On a positive note, the tray always seems to stay clean after I dump it, which is real nice.

It’s bigger then I thought . Not mad at it either .It holds a lot if you know u know 💨. 10/10

Not sure why the reviews are bad. The ashtray is true to the pics, especially the ones in the user review. I like the burnished red bronze. The color hides the ashes well. It's not so flimsy that it would easily deform like one reviewer said. He probably used way too much force to remove the lid. It was very difficult to remove the lid the first time. Definitely remove it first before using it and then put it back on not so tightly. I put baking soda inside to hid the odor and it was very nondescript. Exactly what I wanted and it holds a lot of butts. The mechanism to open and close the lid works fine but I don't expect it to last forever. This type of ashtray always ends up with an issue where the lid doesn't close all the way after a while. But so far so good. Better than the roulette ones if you are looking for something that doesn't scream ashtray, but for outdoor patios where you plan to leave the ashtray outside continuously, the roulette ashtray is probably the way to go.

This is not the first time I’ve bought this type of ashtray. I use it for occasional cigars in the back yard.The prior purchases have always opened a lot wider than this one. Not sure why it won’t open fully but I can’t drop a finished cigar into the small opening.

Product quality is good, esp for what you pay. Looks cute and is easy to clean.

The top broke off however you can still open and close. Does NOT close fully. If it tips it will spill no matter what basically. Still good for the price

I put the ashtray in a spot in my home where all that pass will notice it there and all who sit down to relax in the oversize recliner will see it. It is very sturdy and eye-catching!
