Update: Kids review
UPDATE: We gave this game to a neighbor family as part of a sub for Santa gifting, so they don't know it came from us. The last two times I've been with this family, the kids have asked me, "Have you ever played What Are the Odds?" They then go on telling me all about the funny things they have done while playing this game and how much fun it is. I've been amazed how many times they bring it up. This is a family who has been struggling to get along with each other and I'm so happy to hear that this game has been doing that very thing for them. ------- This game has you doing the funniest things. It's a good game to pull in people that are otherwise hanging on the edge and are afraid to join in. When one person goes along with it then the next person seems to feel okay to have fun and be a little silly. I also like how it levels the playing field for multiple ages to play together. It's good for kids to see their parents let down their hair once in a while. So much of life is serious these days that it's nice to have a small window where you forget all that and just. have. fun.

Clever dares that kept us laughing
We tried this out the other night with our three boys, ages 13, 10, and 7. I thought it was really fun! It’s basically like truth or dare —mostly dare, but the game gives you lots of fun and creative ideas for the dares. I took some pictures that you can see examples of the cards and how clever and funny they are. The wagering system adds an extra element of fun and suspense to the game, which my boys seemed to like. I personally wasn’t too embarrassed to to do any of the dares. I would do any of those things in front of my kids! And they thought that was funny. But it seems that kids, teens, and tweens, especially if playing with friends or people they don’t know as well, would be embarrassed to do the dares, which is what makes the game fun. My 7-year-old was mortified by the idea of doing most of them, but he is a pretty anxious and self-conscious kid. I would love to play it again with some of the kids’ friends, relatives, etc.

It's a hilarious game!
This Game is hilarious! We love hosting game nights with friends. Sometimes it's old friends and other times its a great way to get to know people. What are the odds is one of those games that really helps you to get to know people better and really fun to play with old friends. Whether you play it as a family or with friends I would recommend having a larger group 6 or more is ideal. You do funny dares and try to strategize how to get out of doing things you'd rather not do. The thing I appreciate is that its good clean fun, nothing off color or embarrassing to play with kids or teenagers.

Great if you like the awkward side of things
This game reminds me of a game we used to play in middle school—it’s fun to have it in card form. Some of the cards are a bit immature and can get awkward sometimes, but overall we had fun playing it and ended up doing some pretty goofy stuff!!

My friends and I love playing this game. It’s fun for a night of just hanging out with the people you like most. Definitely think everyone should have this game in their house

Family game night….yes!
Since the COVID-19 pandemic our family has gotten together almost every Saturday night for a family game night. My grandkids vary in age so as they fall asleep the games change but this one we were able to play with everyone except for the baby. It was a lot of fun!!

Fun game for big groups
Played this with my large family and had a good time. Lots of laughs. Family friendly. Needs to come with 2 dry erase boards though, so you can reveal your “odds”. That’s what we did and it was fun

More like a drinking game than a family game
If your family enjoys challenges like these, they'll like it: What are the odds you'll pick your nose (moving it around and such) then put it into your mouth? What are the odds you'll eat an object out of the trash? What are the odds you'll eat toilet paper? If not, there are better family games out there: Caveman Poetry, Sushi Go, P is for Pizza, etc.
