Edit:So I’ve now bought several Apotheke candles. Packaging is minimalist and pretty. But the scents are all over the place in terms of intensity and durability. Earl grey candle is the best; charcoal and Vetiver are good scents but pretty burnt out scent wise half way through. Charcoal is the weakest out of the three. The enormous variability in scent quality and intensity is odd. Will try more of their line bc earl grey is so good but I personally am not happy paying these prices for the Charcoal candle which was the most disappointing. Easy on the eyes though.—below refers only to Earl Grey BittersIt can perfume a 600 square foot room in 15 min. Scent is lovely. Citrus note is forward.It’s the most fragrant candle in the 30-50 bucks range I’ve found on Amazon. May actually irritate by being too fragrant if left on for longer than 15 min. Obviously that’s not a bad thing, that’s on the user. Am trying others by same company.

What more can I say? While the exterior shipping carton arrived in fine condition the original APOTHEKE inner box had all the earmarks of a cat having recently given birth to a litter of ravenous kittens, some of whose birthing fluids managed to permanently stain the exterior of an otherwise attractive, rough-finished and heavyweight cylinder. Taking these imperfections to be a deliberate hallmark of Brooklyn chic we simply lit up and breathed deeply. Nice!

I absolutely love rather loved the white Vetiver candles. I always purchased the 32 ounce three wick or the four wick I believe it’s 98 ounce I can’t remejmber what size your largest candle is it goes now for $198. I have purchased this three times in the last three months. I have also been purchasing these candles from you for about four or five years your price keeps going up; your quality keeps going down. You will lose your client base. The quality of your candles has consistently gotten worse. It is very obvious you are using the old fashion way of making your candles where there’s a lot of wax around three little candles. The last three candles I have purchased have problems keeping the wicks lit. I just purchased a candle, and only one wick out of three works. The candles was $78 I do not have a problem, paying for a quality item. Based on what I am seeing and on the number of purchases I have made which are quite a few. I consider this to be an insult to your customers. If you were going to reduce your quality of your candles, reduce your price, I could make a better candle than the candle that I just recently purchased through Amazon, which is yours. It is extremely upsetting to have a company like yours allow themself to reduce their quality to the point that it is right now. I hope other customers will reach out to you and make you aware of how unhappy they are with your low quality which has been since Covid. If you can’t make a quality candle, reduce your price at least by 2/3rd. These candles used to be worth the price, but the quality of your candles now, they are not worth the price. It’s better to buy your own vetiver, yes, it is expensive, and and make your own candles because then at least you know, your wicks will work and they won’t be made cheaply the way that you are now making them. These are no longer high-quality candles. They are not worth the price. I am really sorry to say that because I have enjoyed these candles tremendously. You have ruined your company. You have ruined your company’s reputation by your lack of caring about the quality and service you are providing your customers. I will also be submitting this on your website. When I first started purchasing your candles, I gave you five stars. You’re down to one star if there was a possibility of doing zero stars that is exactly what I would give you. Paying $78 for a candle that is a three wick candle and only one wick is works and you can obviously see there are three little candles just filled with wax around them unlike the way you used to make them. Your customers are noticing the downward spiral. Your company is taking in quality. You will lose them.

Scent is great performance could be better.5* scent, 3-4* performance. Constantly need to foil wrap to get full even burn (surface melt) . Hot throw could be tad bit stronger in my opinion I’d buy again but prob not for full price.

This candle looks great. Shiny onyx wax in a black vessel. The scent is very hard to pinpoint, but it’s earthy and quite appealing. The burn time is superb. Some tunneling issues, but easy to remedy with some foil.

I met the owner when she first started out, and I was impressed with her products and have been loyal since. While this is expensive, it is worth it. The scents don't smell fake. And they last. So when you really think of the cost of this virus lower quality, I think the overall cost evens out when you think of how long this lasts. Even if the candle is not lit, the room still smells great.

I loved the box design & quality of the items, but I felt there were too many boring & basic items, like matches & a wick trimmer-- I would have preferred more large candles.

Wish this candle was bigger because it smells great and I love it!
