It is a solid unit. It will take several amps to drive it but we can work that out.

I used this motor for my work pumpkin contest and it worked perfectly! It was easy to use and quiet, and ran consistently when turned on.

I ordered the 5 RPM motor because it looked like it would fit well into my project. When the motors arrived I was unable to use them because the shaft is in the center, not off-set as shown in the spec's

Used this to run a tripod grille turner. At 6 volts it turn just 2 1/2 rpm which is just right. Battery's last a long time so it must be quite efficient.

I bought this to make a styrofoam coffin lid open and close with plastic skeleton hands holding the lid from the inside. The motor struggles to push up the lid approx. 12 inches, but it worked for halloween 2021. I might need to buy a new motor for 2022.

I purchased this motor to spin records in my DIY ultrasonic record cleaner and am very pleased with it. One thing you have to be careful of is the mounting bracket. The screws that came with the bracket are too long. When you mount the motor to the bracket the screws are long enough to cause a bind in the gearbox preventing the motor from spinning. I had to grind off about half the threads to shorten them enough to work without binding.
